Renowned Indian actor Kamal Hasan is set to join the star-studded cast of Nag Ashwin's ambitious sci-fi action epic, "Project K," alongside Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, and Disha Patani. Produced by C. Aswani Dutt's Vyjayanthi Movies, this film marks the banner's momentous 50th anniversary.
Hasan, who starred in and produced the blockbuster hit "Vikram" in 2022, has also been working on the highly anticipated film "Indian 2." Moreover, following the immense critical and commercial success of "Nayakan" (1987), he is set to reunite with the acclaimed director Mani Ratnam for the two-part film adaptation of "Ponniyin Selvan."
Prabhas, currently basking in the success of "Adipurush," his recent cinematic release, will share the screen with Padukone, who delivered a stellar performance alongside Shah Rukh Khan in the highly successful film "Pathaan" earlier this year. Bachchan, known for his remarkable performances, featured in the hits "Uunchai" and "Brahmastra Part One: Shiva" in 2022, while Patani's latest appearance was in "Ek Villain Returns" (2022).
