What Are Your Thoughts About Your Body Holding You Back From Success

When someone joins my personal coaching program, I want to describe exactly what their body will look like after I help them reach their goal weight. I ask them, what to do in writing - not on the phone, and here's why ...

Deeply embedded negative thoughts cause us difficulties in any weight loss or health enhancement program - in fact, our past failures can almost always be found in negative thoughts that we did not realize.

When we write things down on paper (or on the computer) most of our negative thoughts come out.

I challenge you to write 10 brief descriptions of what your body would look like in 30 days if someone like me trained you - a person who knows exactly how to transform the human body at any stage of the game right now.

Go ahead, take a moment and write down what your face will look like, what your hands will look like, what your legs and your buttocks will look like - will your skin look different, will your muscles tighten, will you be lean - all the details, then come back.

Did you do it

Make your list now before reading more - I want you to go away with some deep knowledge of yourself after reading this article.

Well, now that you have your list, let me show you something that you can use to decide if you have failed in trying to lose weight yourself and keep it off.

Here are some examples of statements a good friend of mine used before he and I started working together - statements that literally held him back from success:

No facial features, no double chin, no back pain or puffy cheeks, no under eye bags.

Other than the improved face shape, I have no complaints about my face, hair, eyes, nose, ears.

Neck-No Double Chin or "Vatal"

Chest-no gynecomastia (female breast), instead of muscle. Look, Mom, I can see my ribcage and pectoral muscles instead of the soft mattress of the flab.

Arm-hard sinewy curves instead of soft breadsticks. Seeing veins and muscles instead of fat.

Stomach - Is there really abs hidden? They have never appeared in 50 years! Better a poor horse than no horse at all.

Legs - Less conical in shape, longer and more solid. Yet my calves have always been bigger and stronger - the best part of my body, next to my brain.

Buttocks कम less slow, more form

The back may have very short hair, it would be nice to see a "V" shape instead of a cut pyramid.

Can you see why he may have had some problems in the past to reach his goal?

But let me tell you a little secret - this guy is in good shape now and enjoying life more than ever, and he's happy to talk to us every week on our coaching calls.

Here is a list of women who have just completed my coaching programs - this list was written together with our first session - see how positive each statement is:
