How We Should Adopt Ecological Farming Instead Of Organic Farming ?

There are many people who think that organic farming is a better way of farming, and we should have to shift to organic farming, but there are some reasons why we should not suddenly shift to organic farming, and that reasons I am going to explain in this article.

Organic farming is a method that ancient people adopted in order to live a healthy existence. Initially, they did not utilize artificial fertilizers or dangerous pesticides, instead of relying on natural compost like agricultural waste, cow duck, and cow urine to help them maintain healthy soil and maintain a healthy environment.

Prior to the green revolution, we practiced a great amount of organic farming. Following the green revolution, chemicals enter the agricultural industry, and it is insane to apply a chemical to a field in order to develop a higher yield.

Today, organic is a full field lifestyle option, particularly after the covid pandemic, which made people more cautious about their diet and health, so people are aware of the importance of organic food.

But the biggest debate in India right now is whether organic agriculture is the way to feed the people while also addressing the major issue, which is the environment.

Today's challenge is figuring out how to feed a rising population while still protecting the environment. As the protection save, two requirements to be achieved in, one is "ecological agriculture" and the other is "organic agriculture" can satisfy this condition.

Ecological agriculture has the potential to be more sustainable than organic agriculture because it includes more three-dimensional agriculture, such as a focus on soil health, crop health, water health, and environmental health, making it more vital to our lives and the environment.

Organic agriculture, in my opinion, is partially focused on human health but is not a plan for the ecosystem. The greater the expense of organic agriculture, as well as the effort and particular techniques required. Organic agricultural methods and organic agriculture cannot allow for the quick production of a large population of food for a rising population.

As a result, organic agriculture is expensive, and most middle-class people cannot afford to buy it. As a result, organic agriculture is now seen as a luxury commodity and cannot be practiced by a significant number of farmers.

Because earlier farmers used a lot of chemicals and tape to convert to organic land, it was very expensive and not easy. According to soil science, converting one-inch soil to organic takes hundreds of years and is very difficult, so not all farmers can perform that sort of practice.

Organic agriculture is only concerned with human health, whereas ecological agriculture is concerned with both human health and the ecosystem as a whole.

Ecological agriculture is a style of agriculture that focuses on producing long-term crops and livestock with minimum environmental impact. This style of agriculture attempts to strike a balance between the requirement for food production and the maintenance of the ecological system within the area.

In the second example, ecological farming, we utilize solar energy drip irrigation with no chemicals and produce more trees, which is crucial for our environment and our health.

So, organic agriculture is really essential for human health, but we can combine that with sustainable or ecological agriculture, which is also very important for the environment and human health.
