The biggest debate in India right now is whether organic agriculture is the way to feed the people while also addressing the major issue, which is the environment. Ecological agriculture has the potential to be more sustainable than organic agriculture because it includes a focus on soil health, crop health, water health, and environmental health. Organic agriculture is partially focused on human health but is not a plan for the ecosystem. As a result, organic agriculture is seen as a luxury commodity and cannot be practiced by many farmers. Ecological agriculture is a style of agriculture that focuses on producing long-term crops and livestock with minimum environmental impact.
