How To Play Battlegrounds Mobile India (PUBG)

PUBG Mobile is back in India!

PUBG Mobile is officially coming back to India as Battleground Mobile India soon. A South Korean game developer company, Crafton, announced to bring PUBG as Battleground Mobile India in Mid Of June.

Why Did PUBG Ban Last Year?

PUBG was banned last year, along with 119 apps that came under scrutiny for mismanaging user data, which led to their removal from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. As a response, South Korean company Crafton said it would create a new game called 'Battlegrounds Mobile India' that would address those privacy concerns and localize the game better in line with the country's values.

Battlegrounds Mobile India Release News

The Crafton company brought a completely new unit to India called Battlegrounds Mobile. And it will launch soon in the coming days and should be available for pre-registration and download on Android and iOS soon. However, whether it brings all the other changes that were promised and how different it will be from its original version remains to be seen.

However, Crafton has not yet revealed the Battlegrounds Mobile India launch date. According to new reports, the game will probably be available on June 18. But the Crafton company has already allowed some selected gamers of India to play the game before June 18, not all users.

How To Download Battlegrounds Mobile Before the mass-market Rollout

The game will be available in beta format for a short period. Only players in India will sign up for pre-registration - which is expected to open in the coming weeks. The official download or Battlegrounds Mobile APK hasn't been made available yet, so be wary of any links to packages that claim to be games - they're probably fake. Make sure you download the game from the respective app store or website only.

Battleground Mobile Vs. PubG Mobile: What's Different?

Crafton has confirmed that the new game will comply with Indian laws and regulations and ensure data safety and security for all users. The Battlegrounds Mobile India website also clearly states what personal information it will collect and store. As a part of its efforts towards well-being, users under the age of 18 will not be allowed to play the game for more than three hours a day. Also, the maximum daily limit for in-app purchases will be Rs 7,000. Younger players will also be asked to provide the mobile number of their parent/guardian for verification. This game has strict instructions for those under 18 PUBG Mobile India was also said to be more suitable for young gamers, where all players would spawn with clothes instead of just their undergarments. Violence will also be reduced by reducing blood and red splatter in the game. We expect these battlegrounds to carry on on mobile as well.

Update: Sanhok, the mini jungle map of PUBG Mobile, will be one of the maps to be available in Battleground Mobile. Information on other locations is still awaited.

Crafton's New Strategy

Crafton will partner with local entities to build an eSports ecosystem in India through a series of in-game events. In addition, localization is also likely to occur in the form of clothing and apparel.

Summery

The essence of all this is that the pubg that was banned last year due to some reasons will now be released in the middle of June with a new avatar and new name, Battlegrounds Mobile India, whose pre-registration was started a few months back.
