Why is Stream Selection According to Your Passion Important?
Nowadays, most students are ruining their lives by choosing streams due to the criteria made by society or family. According to society, if a child got above 90%, they are brilliant and should take science. If a child got above 70%, they are intelligent and should take commerce. The rest of all children are useless and fools to take humanities/arts.
Due to these criteria made by our society, children somehow started thinking the same; they think that brilliant student means science intelligent student means commerce and rest of the fools means humanities/arts. That’s the reason they take stream without analyzing his/herself.
Marks are, no doubt, a reflection of a student’s potential and capability, but we can’t judge anyone by their marks, and also, marks should not be the criteria for choosing the right stream.
