Eid al-Adha is a very purposeful and memorable day; the acceptance of the prayers of that day has been indicated by the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), so we must ask for repentance together every day. Not verbal, practical repentance. Pray to the Lord, growl, ask forgiveness for your shortcomings, sins, and make every effort to please your Lord. Remember, "sacrifice" has been an integral part of all religions since the beginning of the world. It is the gift of life before Allah, who has made an animal stand.
