XRP Consolidates Between $2.96–$3.07: Breakout or Breakdown Ahead ?
The XRP coin price continues to hover around the narrow trading zone between $2.96 and $3.07, keeping traders uncertain about its next major move. As per the recent market updates, the current price consolidation might just be a hint for a potential bullish breakout. However, the technical indicators are presenting an unclear and mixed outlook.
The current chart analysis shows XRP trading at about $3.02 to $3.03, with the 20-day EMA at $2.9743 acting as immediate support in the short term. Right below, the 50-day EMA at $2.9434 creates next-level support for buyers. Next up, the 100-day EMA at $2.8170 and 200-day EMA at $2.5695 sit much lower; this suggests XRP is still trading above its longer-term averages. which supports the idea that the overall trend remains bullish.
Now, looking at the RSI Indicator, which is currently at 53.86, suggests a fairly neutral position but slightly towards the buyers. Since the RSI sits above 50 and is not yet in the overbought zone, the XRP price can still surge if the buying momentum builds further.

Bullish Scenario
The XRP crypto price could gain momentum if the price stays above the 20-day EMA around $2.97 and clears the resistance at $3.07. If this happens, we could see a breakout happening, and the next price targets could be between $3.20 and $3.30. And if the broader market sentiment stays positive, it may even challenge resistance at higher levels. Holding above the 50-day EMA is important for catching the next big rally.
Bearish Scenario
If XRP cannot break the $2.96 support zone, sellers might drive its price lower to the $2.94 mark at the 50-day EMA, or even further toward the 100-day EMA, towards $2.81. A drop below this level could pave the way for a deeper pullback, with the 200-day EMA near $2.56 serving as the final defence for long-term bullish investors.
