Patel, a politician and social activist from the state of Gujarat. He completed his graduation with Bachelor's in Commerce Degree.
His name was spread to the country in 2015, which left many politicians shocked. Many national politicians like Narendra Modi and Amit Shah were shocked that how a 23 years Boy can bring the Gujarati people on streets because of Patel Agitation.
Protestors went so violent on the night of 25th August 2015 that Curfew was imposed, paramilitary forces were called to maintain peace.
What was the reason for uproar of Patel Community ???????
1.6 crore of Gujarat population are Patel, they wanted Other Backward Classes Quota for reservation in jobs and scholarships which was earlier turned down by the government which led to huge violent protests.
Gujarat Chief Minister and Narendra Modi came up with tweets and videos to restore peace in the state of Gujarat.
In 2017 just before Gujarat elections some Objectionable tapes were leaked in which Patel was also seen as a mastermind. This incident further tarnished his identity, was used by BJP leaders to show his real identity.
He influenced the Gujarat Assembly Elections in such a manner that, it became a neck to neck fight for BJP, the results helped Congress, it brought huge humiliation for BJP.
Why Patel left Congress party ??????
● Gap of channel of communication between Congress top leadership and him.
● No Problem addressing committee was constituted.
● Lack of party posts were presented to him.
● He wasn't made a member in Congress Working Committee.
● Switching of other leaders in BJP, also encouraged him for the same.
Why does BJP need him ??????
●He is a very young politician (28 years) which could help BJP in upcoming time.
●Joining BJP will save him from Central Investigation Agencies (like Central Bureau Of Investigation, Enforcement Directorate, Income Tax Department)
●Cases against him will be dropped and thus helping him in contesting Assembly Elections.
●He will soon become a Minister from BJP side, being a prominent Patel Leader.
● He is bared from contesting elections because of 2 year punishment, in cases of rioting in which Congress party cannot help, the party which can help is ruling party in the state.
●Top brass of party wants to grab a strong hold over the state, being home state of 2 National leaders Narendra Modi and Amit Shah.
Patel Chief Ministers in state ?????
5 Chief ministers in Gujarat State have been from Patel Community, it shows their dominant role in state politics. Even now in 2021, BJP changed their Chief Minister to choose a Patel Leader.
Whatever reason the BJP will give in future for his support, but the entry of such wanted leaders in the party will surely tarnish the identity of party.
BJP will again be called as a Washing Machine which allows tainted leaders to build their new reputation and project them as innocent leader.
The thing to see the most is attitude of Patel with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah. His latest tweet after joining BJP towards Prime Minister is "I will work under him as a small soldier in the work of nation building".
