There is a great debate raging in the world about whether you should go to business school and what your future and life look like if you do. There are many risks of going to business school, including:
-getting stuck in a very competitive industry
-never getting paid more than 10 dollars an hour
-being ashamed of your time spent learning that you will never use again or be able to earn money for any of that knowledge
-wasting years of your life because you're just not interested in an industry that doesn't suit who you really are.' You can look at this and laugh and say, "I'm going to business school, and I don't really care what anyone else thinks." You can decide to look at this as a joke and skip over it.
But the truth is, we all go through these things. What you're seeing here is someone who has been through it. Someone who was stuck, forced into an industry just to get a paycheck after college. Someone who had dreams of being a writer or photographer or designer or engineer or-or-or… And unfortunately they didn't pursue those careers because they were told that there was no money in those careers and that they should go to business school instead. Yes, what they were told was true.
But the only thing that's changed is that now they know it. And now they're trying to find something new to do with their lives.
I have no idea what this is talking about, except that the speaker is talking about not going into business school. I'm not sure if he's saying he didn't go into business school because of these reasons or just saying that stuff about it being a waste of time, but my guess would be the former.
He ends with "And now they're trying to find something new to do with their lives.", which I agree with, but he doesn't tell me what himself or others are doing instead of business school.
All in all, the article was not very helpful.

I like this article better than whyYouShouldNotGoToBusinessSchool.com because the writer took his time to present multiple arguments for and against business school, giving us both sides of the story (and no, I did not purposefully set out to use Why You Should Not Go To Business School #5-9 to reference The Dark Knight). He talks about how it's not for everyone, but can be a great option for others. There are also some really good statistics in there about what graduates are getting paid after business school.
The article says all about why going to business school is a big risk and what it takes for someone to make a career out of it.
