As a publisher of e_zines, and newsletters, you know that customers are always looking for more in your services. Another way to give customers better service while upgrading your search engine is to place your online archives. By placing these online, you provide your readers with a value-added service that will differentiate you from other zines and textbooks. This will not only give value to your customers but also by putting your archives online, search engine spiders are able to "see" your unique content combination. Ultimately, having your own four repositories online will give you higher search rates and more variations of the keywords that everyone craves. There are some things to consider when deciding to put your newsletter online. The first consideration is that your fourth model is a paid subscription or free registration. If your four is a paid subscription, you probably do not want to put all your archives online where someone can access them for free. If you did, this, there would be no need for students to pay for registration. However, you may want to consider putting a few archives on the website, so that potential customers and advertisers can see what your publication will offer them. Then, you can store your remaining archives on the member-only website, accessible to your paying subscribers. If you offer a free four or a newsletter, there is little reason not to give all your archives for free online. The reason people want to go ahead and sign up for your four or a newsletter is that they can get the story as soon as it comes out. You may want to consider providing only online archives at least a few months old. In other words, do not provide this month's archive for a few more months, so people will still want to sign up for your publication to see when it first becomes available. Search engine spiders like the content on websites. Spiders not only like standard content, but they also like important content such as articles. Quality content is one of the key things search engines look for when providing quality and value website rankings. Articles in your archive will improve the quality of your search engine. Having a high-quality search engine means that potential subscribers are able to find you very easily. The ease with which you can find and provide a free four-page service with archives gives potential subscribers plenty of reasons to choose your four or newsletter to stay in their email inbox over your competitors. Archiving your online publications will automatically give you a good value for keyword development. For example, if you publish an article that talks about home improvement, there is a good chance that many of the articles in your publication will contain the words “home improvement”. Now, if a subscriber can search online for “home improvement,” they may be redirected to your website and learn that you are providing an important subscription to this article. If you do not have your own archives online, the chances of finding these new visitors and subscribers are greatly reduced. Simply put, having your online newsletter archive is probably the easiest way to increase your exposure to search engines and the easiest way to increase your four-year subscriber base for free. It can be less expensive to provide your archives online, and it can enhance your subscriber experience, letting them feel happy about the service you offer them. People may be interested in reading your publications, but your four can be easily overlooked because of the large number of publications currently available in the subscribers' email box. There will come a day when a person feels overwhelmed by the amount of mail that arrives in his mailbox every day or every week. When this first happens, they start canceling the subscription because it is simply too difficult to get rid of these newsletters and zines weekly or monthly. I found myself in that situation, so I removed the ones that were bothering me and kept one or two subscriptions that seemed to give me the quality content I was looking for in an easy-to-read format. It then annoyed me to visit my email regularly to filter out four and newsletters I hadn’t read. So if you want to stand out from your competitors and offer this value-added service to your customers, you really need to consider putting your archives online. You may be surprised at the change in your search engine rankings. Also, if you are offering paid subscriptions, consider giving a few problems to the free archive, in order to at least show potential subscribers and advertisers the quality of the product you are offering. Follow my advice, and down the road, you will be able to generate extra revenue from your newsletter, as you will have the largest list of subscribers you can count as your own.
