There are plenty of tense moments throughout the movie, and some humor is thrown in to keep things lighthearted.
It also features one of the most incredible cars chases ever filmed. I would recommend this movie to anyone who likes an action thriller that can be appreciated mentally and physically. It's not always just about how many people you kill; sometimes, it's about how you kill them.
With brutal gunfights and visceral hand-to-hand combat scenes, John Wick will satisfy even the most hardcore action fan. Just don't expect any semblance of morality or conscience from this antihero because there isn't any.
Logan (2017)
If you're looking for something with a little less intensity than The Fate of the Furious but still has enough action and violence in it, Logan is a good choice. It's set in the future and follows a time when most mutants have either died off or been killed. It also follows an aged Wolverine who has been living as a hermit for many years until he meets up with Professor Charles Xavier (played by Patrick Stewart), who needs Logan's help.
From there, they go on a journey that takes them across the United States. Other stars in this movie include Hugh Jackman, Boyd Holbrook, and Stephen Merchant. Other notable actors from this film are Dafne Keen, Richard E. Grant, Eriq La Salle, and Elise Neal.
One of the most remarkable features of Logan is its R rating-- which means no cuts due to foul language or graphic content-- which adds more intensity to the storyline. That being said, this film does not take away from the quality storytelling- especially considering its three hours long!
