Surprisingly, the end of the year is quickly approaching. This suggests that manufacturers are preparing their products for 2023 and working hard to get them into stores as soon as possible. Many of the new models for the coming year have already been seen, and some have even been driven. But there will be plenty more before January even arrives. These are just a few examples.
2023 Alfa Romeo Tonale

Alfa Romeo expanded its lineup of crossover vehicles by adding the Tonale. The Tonale, the brand's first plug-in hybrid vehicle, is positioned beneath the larger Stelvio and is powered by a turbocharged 1.3-liter inline-four engine with battery assistance. It has a range of 30 miles on electricity and a total output of 272 horsepower. The new Tonale will be available later this year, with prices starting at around $30,000.

2023 BMW 7 Series 'The First Edition' for Japan
BMW's largest and most luxurious sedan is completely redesigned for the 2023 model year. The new 7 Series features striking styling, a luxurious interior, and two powertrain options: gas or electric. The gas models are available in six- and eight-cylinder configurations, while the new BMW i7 is powered by a 101.7-kilowatt-hour battery pack. The gas 7 Series and the i7 both have up to 536 horsepower.
2023 BMW XM

Last year, BMW unveiled the XM concept, which featured wild styling and a plug-in hybrid powertrain capable of up to 750 horsepower. That concept will now become a reality. The launch model will have 644 hp and 650 lb.-ft of torque, with a 750-hp version expected later in 2023. There is no word on pricing.

The long-awaited C8 Z06 arrives later this year, packing 670 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque from a new 5.5-liter V8. This supercar can reach 8,600 RPM and reach 60 miles per hour in just 2.6 seconds. The new Z06 starts at $106,395 – but orders for the 2023 model year have already closed.
2023 Dodge Hornet

Dodge's new Hornet is its (finally) compact crossover. The Dodge Hornet is based on the Alfa Romeo Tonale platform and features a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine as standard, as well as a plug-in hybrid option with up to 285 horsepower and a 0-60 time of 6.1 seconds. The new Hornet will be available for purchase later this year, with prices starting at around $30,000.
2023 Ferrari Purosangue

Ferrari's first SUV is shown here. Currently, the Purosangue is the strongest naturally aspirated Ferrari product available. It is propelled by a 6.5-liter V12 engine with the natural aspiration that generates 528 pound-feet of torque and 715 horsepower. The new Ferrari Purosangue has a starting price of around $400,000 and increases from there later in the year.

However, for the 2023 model year, the subcompact receives a major redesign that includes a sharp exterior design and a new 2.0-liter engine with 158 horsepower and 138 pound-feet of torque. The base price for this small crossover is $24,895.

The Ioniq 6 electric car is technically not a 2023 model-year vehicle, but we anticipate it to launch elsewhere later this year before coming to the US. The Ioniq 6 should cost around $40,000 and come with a choice of 53 or 77.4- kilowatt-hour battery packs and upto 320 horsepower
2023 Kia Niro

The Kia Niro received a significant facelift for 2023. This update includes a new exterior design, a more modern interior, and the continued availability of both the PHEV and full-EV models. However, the base Niro retains the same 1.6-liter hybrid powertrain as last year, producing 139 hp. The hybrid should be available in the United States within the next few months.
2023 Lexus RZ

Lexus is electrifying its lineup, and the RZ crossover, a battery-powered sibling to the RX, will be the brand's first full EV. The RZ will most likely ride on the same e-TNGA platform as the Toyota BZ4X and the Subaru Solterra, but with a larger battery pack and greater range. The Lexus RZ will be available for purchase later this year.
2023 Polestar 3

Polestar is adding one - or three - new models to its lineup. The Polestar 3 will be the company's first electric crossover, joining the Polestar 2 sedan. The Polestar 3 crossover will likely borrow elements from the Polestar 2 sedan, such as single- and dual-motor layouts. However, we will not know all of the specifics until the EV goes on sale later this year.
