Why Yoga and Meditation is important in our life

We become too busy in our life making carrier, achieving the goal, following ambition that we forget our self. We forget that we have a body and mind to be maintained. Our life becomes so complicated with the development of society. We nowadays only pay attention to the money and sophistication of our survival. So in this way, we all are inviting unwanted situations and health conditions into our life. We are suffering from various diseases which become almost common to everybody like Blood pressure, Thyroid issues, Sugar, Obesity, Hypertension, Forgetfulness, Anxiety, Depression, Diabetes, etc. So Yoga and Meditation become so important to cope with the hectic life.

            Meditation:      There are various methods of meditation, we can take any one of them based on our comfort zone and which is suitable for us. Now I am going to tell you the benefits of meditation- Building skills to handle our stress. Meditation enhances self-awareness and makes us visionary. It increases patience and tolerance. It Boosts up our memory power and makes us able to think properly. It controls anxiety. A meta-analysis including nearly 1300 adults found that meditation decreases anxiety. It controls emotional balance.  It may reduce age-related memory loss. It can help to fight against bad addictions. Helps control pain.

Yoga and Asanas:       Asana is a body posture mainly sitting position and meditation pose but now it is extended in various poses and hatha yoga and modern yoga. In ancient times Yogis discovered 50,000 asana which affects our various glands and chakras. We should do Asana in a proper manner with an instructor. Morning time is best for asana when our stomach is empty. Now I am going to discuss briefly some important Asana and their benefits

Padmasana:    This asana is basically a cross-legged sitting pose called Lotus position, widely used for meditation in Hindu. This asana calms the brain, opens up the hips, increases awareness and attentiveness, helps develop good posture, and helps keep joints and ligaments flexible.

Sarvangasana:  This asana supports Hypertension Treatment. This position aids in the reduction of high blood pressure, Improves Thyroid related issues, Reduce fatigue, Improves digestion, Stimulates abdominal organs, relieves stress and depression.

Mayurasana: This peacock pose removes toxins and detoxifies our body, Improves functions of the digestive system, and makes the abdomen stronger, Peacock pose is beneficial in piles and diabetes, it improves physical activity, strengthens, and tones the reproductive system.

Chakrasana:  The chest expands and the lungs get more oxygen in this pose, so good for asthma patients, sharpen eyesight, this asana strengthens the back and increases the elasticity of the spine, it improves the structure of the bally.

Bhujangasana:  This asana strengthens the spine, stretches chest and lungs, shoulder and abdomen, tones the buttock, helps relieve stress and fatigue, Opens the heart and lungs, soothes sciatica, strengthens the lower back, stimulates abdominal organs.

Yoga mudra: It strengthens the immune system, improves the flow of vital forces in the body, relieves mental pressure, anger, restlessness, frustration, sharpens vision, and improves eyesight.

Surya Namaskar: Help with weight loss, strengthen muscles and joints, improved complexion, ensure better functioning digestive system, helps combat insomnia, useful in the treatment of the frozen shoulder.

      So we should practice Yoga and Meditation on a daily basis for a better life.
