Why Women's Rights are Important
Women are almost half of the world’s population and play a proactive role in many fields but still, we are suffering from social embarrassment due to the lack of women's rights. Rights are important for the development of a country, society, and even the whole world as the almighty created the human therefore, women are a precious element of any society. But, unfortunately, there is a lack of implementation of women's rights in almost every society. No doubt woman is a partner in the development of society because not only the man, but women also work equally for the development of society and if it is found that their role is always ignored and not properly measured by the system, which phenomenon is required to be discouraged by every nook and corner of society, especially in the subcontinent. If we ask ourselves, are we providing them, the rights they deserve, according to their role in society, the answer is No. This is a need of the hour to change this No into “yes” therefore we need to raise our voices against this social behavior, we need to improve our behavior towards women and identify their real share with regard to their respect and dignity so that a powerful value of women as part of society be admitted by the whole world. Actually, the objectives, of women's rights are to give them their legal rights, help them to work independently, allow them to do jobs, secure them at their workplace and give them their due space in society. This is our responsibility to establish a system and workforce for women's protection and development which also work to eradicate the thinking of domination over women, and behavior that, women cannot move forward and prosper without the help of men so the issue of their integrity and autonomy be resolved by securing them from violence, domestic violence, etc. the provision of equal opportunity in education and right to own property. In some countries, these rights are being implemented through legislation, local customs, and social behavior, and in other countries, they are ignored and suppressed by male domination in all fields of life. If the same situation remains continues, it will result in social disaster. Where we need to overcome all other issues at the global level, we also need to protect this important aspect. It is not difficult for us to resolve this issue but, the problem persists due to the lack of interest of decision-makers as there are some hidden and open benefits of these decision-makers. In some societies, women are themselves responsible for this violence as they do not raise their voices against this violence and bear all these adverse actions of others because this quietness always encourages these violent persons, therefore the women are also contributing to this evil which is being used against them. The goal shall be achieved, when we will see that a woman is living and surviving successfully with her own created and earned resources without support and crutches in the shape of a man this will be the best outlook of society, especially in the Indo-Pak subcontinent. We may make this world heaven if we succeed to draw this beautiful picture and hope for the best, so give importance to this issue to make this world the best.
