“A woman with a voice is, by definition, a strong woman”

Empowerment means a process which gives people right and control on their own lives. Basically, it is using the abilities of a person for the betterment of society, communities and in general World. Similarly, women’s empowerment is utilizing the skills, abilities and creativeness for achieving a prosperous household, society, community and broader levels. It centralizes the women skills at different levels of working like some women work at home (sewing, embroidery etc.), some work professionally (in hospitals as nurses, doctors, healthcare professionals, in offices, in industries and in other different organizations). Women’s empowerment is to promote women’s ability to determine their own choices, and their fundamental human rights to influence society and to make the world more peaceful and better place to live. It allows women to make strategic life choices for themselves and promoting women’s rights. The ultimate goal of women’s empowerment is to boost their status through literacy, educating them, training and giving them awareness. Hence, it is equipping and allowing women to make life-determining choices according to their abilities, skills and allowing them to fulfil their dreams by choosing the desired field of work. In the past, it was considered that women can only cook and do household chores, they cannot do anything else for earning and for being independent. But, now women work in every field of life and in every kind of profession.

“Think like a queen. A queen is not afraid to fail. Failure is another stepping stone to greatness”

There are several ways used to empower girls or women in marketplace, workplace and community as describe below:

— Give everyone basically human rights without discrimination of male and female.

— Help women and guide them to get basic education even in small towns and villages, and promote higher education.

— Train them professionally and promote professional development, marketing practices for girls and women that empower them.

When Women are living happy, prosperous, health, contented and fulfilled lives, they can raise happy and healthy families and can contribute their abilities and skill to the market and workplace and in this way can benefit society at large scale. The most important thing to empower women is to educate them. With education, they can pursue their passion and work in professional field. In this way, they can help their country to improve its economy and contribute in its development. Economic development without the contribution of women is unthinkable. When women are economically powerful, they can focus on other non-economic aspects as well, like politics. Women must be given equal opportunities in every field, irrespective of gender discrimination. Moreover, they must also be given equal pay, equal rights to speak and equal posts in any organization. They must be treated with the same respect as men get everywhere in society. We can empower women by sponsoring them in getting education or in learning any kind of skill they want to learn. We can empower them by giving them job opportunities and providing them opportunities to show their abilities and skills fully.  We believe that healthy, educated, empowered and strong women and girls are agents of change in the development of the world.
