Winter has arrived and the snow is not only piercing your nose but also your entire face. Fortunately, with a facial skin care program that meets your specific skin care needs you can be on your way to healthy, glowing skin. YOUR SKIN IS DRY OR EFFECTS WHEN IT SAYS: • It stings or burns when using skin care products • It is easily irritated • Sometimes it looks red and swollen • It feels itchy, dry, rough and wrinkled Taking care of dry facial skin: Normal bath soap is clean. well but strong alkaline and irritates both dry and sensitive skin. Pure soaps containing glycerin and alcohol are also extremely dry. Therefore, as an alternative to soap, dermatologists recommend soap-free, sensitive skin cleansers. If your skin is very dry or sensitive, you may need to replace the washable ingredient with a sensitive skin bar. After cleansing dry skin, apply a light ointment, hypoallergenic, preservative-free, all-purpose and water-based. For very dry skin, moisturize with petroleum jelly or an oil-based lotion containing 20 percent urea. After cleansing sensitive skin, use a light, hypoallergenic, fragrant moisturizer, such as Eucerin. To test your product tolerance, apply a moisturizer after your ears for the first few days. YOUR SKIN IS ORDINARY IF: • It is usually smooth and soft • It is usually clear / flawless • It looks dry or oily for normal facial skin care: You are one of those lucky people whose face can be smooth and quiet. go back, you look newer than before. Almost any cleanser (from a regular bath sink to sensitive skin areas) will work for you. If you need cosmetics - some people with normal skin don't want it! - Choose a light moisturizer, hypoallergenic, preservative free, whole purpose, water-based after bath. YOUR OILY SKIN IF IT IS: • It has expanded pores or dark hair bath soaps. If necessary, use an astringent pad during the day. Because your skin is naturally oily, you may not need a moisturizer. But if you do, choose the one that has no money (no acne) and no oil or no water — for example, Neutrogena or Aveeno. YOUR SKIN MEETS IF: • It has oil on your forehead, nose or chin • Dry cheeks and eyes before skin care Skin care: Dermatologists recommend one of two ways to cleanse women with oily skin. You can wash with a gentle facial cleanser in the morning and apply an alcohol-free astringent on oily areas over time. Or wash with a soap-free cleanser in dry areas and with regular soap in oily areas. Treat dry spots like dry skin, and apply a water-based or noncomed oil-free moisturizer all over your face. Skin care for all skin types: No matter how oily, dry or sensitive skin is, keep it clean and gently. Use warm (not hot) water with your fingers (not a washcloth). Clean thoroughly. Then use a towel to pat (not rub) your face dry. Wash your face more than once or twice a day. After rubbing dry skin, apply a moisturizer to the skin while it is still wet to make sure it is absorbed. Unless your makeup gives you protection from harmful rays of the sun, consider installing a bright sunscreen
