Wind energy is the way air is used to produce energy or electricity. Wind energy is actually a form of solar energy - wind change and fluctuations are caused by the uneven heat of the earth by the sun. To take full advantage of wind power, many countries have established wind farms. At a wind farm, many different wind turbines (a structure that uses a propeller-like blade to capture wind power) are installed in the area. With all wind turbines operating simultaneously, it is thought that these farms are a good way to produce large amounts of electricity.
In order to determine the efficiency of wind farms, you need to know how wind farms operate. Wind turbines collect wind power in two steps: propeller blades are rotated by air flow, then propelled and turned into a hole. This rotating shaft is connected to the generator. The spinning action vibrates the generator, which in turn generates electricity. The process is exactly the same as hydropower, but air acts as a source of energy instead of flowing water. A single locomotive wind turbine will not generate much electricity, and it is not suitable for power over large areas - these small turbines are often used to power a single farm or house or to pump water.
On the other hand, wind farms are very powerful because there is a large group of wind turbines in one place, all working in unison to generate electricity. Although wind technology has not yet developed to the point where power is not available when used, it is fair to say that the field is harvesting compared to other renewable sources. It may take a while for the whole world to participate in the use of wind energy, but it is certainly fast becoming another important source of energy. Countries like Germany certainly invest heavily in the platform.
