ProteWildlife conservation is essential to maintaining the health and environment of the planet. Earth is the only living planet and it is because of its special environment and the environments that support life. Forests are part and parcel of our environment. They are one of nature's most precious resources and gifts. They play a key role in restoring the climate, rain patterns, water, and soil conservation. These are natural habitats for animals, birds, reptiles, insects, etc. They provide wood, fuel, medicine, and wood for peppermint pulp and raw materials for many industries. The growing depletion and destruction of wildlife is a matter of grave concern. One in seven people in the world lives in India.
India is 16% of the world's population and only 2.4% of its plot area. There is a lot of pressure on our natural resources, including forests. In this age of increasing consumerism and anti-nature activities, forest cover is rapidly declining and failing. The protection of plants and animals, including native plants and animals, depends on the protection of forests. The environment is a direct product of ground resources and living conditions. Ignoring forests leads to the destruction of wildlife. Animals, like us humans, need food, water, and shelter. The destruction of forests, wetlands, swamps, points, meadows, etc. destroys their sources of food, water, and shelter. Launched in 1983, the National Wildlife Action Plan provides a strategic framework and biodiversity conservation program.
Our country is rich in both flora and fauna, but many species of plants and animals are already extinct and many more are on the verge of extinction. Despite various acts and regulations against wildlife exploitation, real conservation is one of the largest wildlife-producing counties in the world and yet there is a staffing structure to protect wildlife interests. ۔ Bandits are also roaming shelters and protected forest areas. They have become fertile ground for poaching and killing animals. Wealthy and influential people and traders have been indiscriminately involved in the hunting, killing, and wildlife trade of animal skins, horns, etc. They carry telescopic rifles and other weapons, use nets and poisonous food, and kill animals.
On many occasions, villagers injure more animals than kill them and thus the injured animals become cannibals and attack the village at night for food. When a human being is killed, every leopard or lion is considered a man-eater and is killed indiscriminately, as a result of which the number of these cats is rapidly declining. Thousands of snails, frogs, rats, mussels, cockroaches, and other animals are killed for experiments in schools, colleges, and laboratories. Even snakes are killed indiscriminately in ignorance. It destroys and disturbs the delicate ecological balance. Tigers are subjected to extreme cruelty by humans, the most intelligent and advanced animals on earth.
Forests and wildlife and renewable resources need to be vigorously protected, safeguarded, and enhanced in a planned manner. There is a need to spread awareness about the protection of forests and wildlife. Social forestry can be taught as a subject in schools. Mobile zoos should be banned and animal rights activists should come forward to wage war on dumb and innocent animals. Forest and wildlife protection laws should be tightened and strictly enforced. A complete attack on forests and wildlife depresses all Indians and wildlife lovers in other countries.
