Why weight loss for Couch Potatoes – Don’t Get up, I’ll Explain…

*** You are fat and you know it! Now I will tell you something you do not know. You think you already know why you are overweight but you do not know. You think it's because you don't have enough time and motivation to exercise. You think it's because you like food and you don't have enough energy to lose enough. You have no clue! The real reason you gain weight will scare you: it's because you have the mindset of a well-trained athlete. Don't laugh now. Have you noticed how fast athletes gain weight when they retire? It's amazing. The same reason why athletes succeed in sports later causes them to become overweight - they are particularly “trained” in their minds. If you understand the machine then you can learn to control your weight without diet, stress or inhumane exercise routine. *** Weight Loss With Your Athletics Before I go on, I have to say it is true: the immediate cause of weight gain is what you eat and how you live. I'm not preaching any counterfeit science here. However, controlling your diet and lifestyle is not easy and I will show you why. If you think you can change your behavior pattern with great determination - then you have not really tried. Indeed, you and I are proud to be sensible adults in controlling our choices and our destiny. But that is just a heavy load. In fact, we rarely do anything that will bring us immediate relief. Do you think otherwise? Go take a shower with cold water just to make sure you are in control. Do not eat solid food for two days. It will not hurt you, but it will make your body angry. And the fact of the matter is that we are often the slaves of the response patterns established by our bodies. Sorry but true. *** The Key to Controlling Your Body Controlling Your Mind Training your body is all about training your mind. We are not talking about math here, we are talking about your ignorant mind - where deep emotions abound, set patterns, practice and quick responses. He is a trinity, 1) a lazy body, 2) intelligent and flexible and 3) strong but solid insights that do a lot of work here. You probably already know that an empty mind offers emotional responses to emphasize “good” behavior (like eating pizza) - but you may not know that the subconscious is also responsible for all the power of the run. Even simple things like walking or typing are consistent interaction of careful commands and unconscious responses. For example, if you are learning to shoot a netball, what you really do is use a smart mind to burn a pattern that becomes an unconscious skill set. Once you can really move, "you don't have to think about it anymore". If you are still thinking about the dance moves mechanics - it is a sign that you have not "learned" yet. That is, your subconscious cannot yet take over. Once you have “mastered” the skill, your knowledgeable mind only needs to call out the command and be able to do something. To better understand your brain's function, let's compare your brain with a few animals: think of Chimp riding on the back of an Elephant. The unconscious mind is like a powerful mute elephant while your mind is like a fast-moving, intelligent monkey. Chimp (alert mind) ———————- Quickly Forgetful Thinking You think you are in control of the Elephant (subconscious) ) Generally dominates *** Myth of Doubtful Myth with this little metaphor that allows me to express the folly of the whole concept of "will" in the sense of a conscious mind that overcomes ignorance by showing cruel power. Seriously, imagine a baboon catching an elephant. Where is the "brute force" of the baboon? The elephant will just sit on top of him and the game is over. That, by the way, is exactly where all food is only supported by energy. The subconscious is a powerful part of your mind. You can control it by pleading but not by force. *** Elephant, Stick and Stone In Indonesia, elephants are used in construction work because they are strong but obedient. Throughout the day the elephant moves hundreds of tons of rock and wood and at night it picks up from its grass bed tied. Do you know how much rope you need to hold an elephant? It is just a small cord tied to a pole. You see, when the elephant was very young, it was tied with a stick and one rope - and it was too small to pull. All his life, he remembers this and never doubts the superior power of the little rod and the cord. Think about it. What do you really know? To be dumb, you have no sense. Your limitations are defined by your childhood experience - and it has nothing to do with your adult skills. Like an elephant, you are emotionally bound by childhood ideas. Most of your old personality is a protective cage built by a frightened child. What can you do to help lift your spirits? Now for the good news: you’re not just an elephant, and you’re part of a baboon! That may sound better but it does not matter. Your mind has a small, intelligent, recognizable element that gives you the power to reorganize your whole mind. Well, your (baboon) mind has the power to completely rewrite and control the whole truth of your mind. This ability defines human beings - it makes us the most adaptable animals in the world and allows us to train our minds to do amazing things. From piano concerts to extreme sports, great mental strength is influenced by this unique human ability. *** Okay, so what does all this have to do with weight loss? Remember, an elephant learns and repeats the behaviors taught to it - so the real questions
