Why We Seeking Blessings of Time?

Nowadays, people are preoccupied with wasting time. The passage of time is accelerating. I'm not sure where the day goes. These are the phrases on everyone's lips these days. In today's world, everyone complains that the day's scheduled tasks go uncompleted and that the day has come to an end. It is unknown how many hours have passed in the last twenty-four hours. Many days pass, and many tasks remain unfinished.

Meetings with relatives, having time to sit quietly with family, and focusing on one's health are all things of the past. We blame it on the fast pace of modern life at times, and at others, we see it as a sign of impending doom. But have we ever considered the possibility that guilt is simply a matter of time? Perhaps there's something we're overlooking.

From the beginning of time to the present, every day has been twenty-two hours. So, what's the deal with the next twenty-four hours being so tense? What caused the blessing to fade? Let's take a look at why this is the case.

Postponing Work

We're becoming a nation of deliberation and procrastination. We have developed the habit of postponing of any task. We try to avoid starting work as far as possible. We don't touch it until it embraces us. Then, as the work's deadline approaches, we an make effort to resolve the task as soon as possible.

Then they say time is running out. I don't know where the time went. Working late, whether for prayer, a college assignment, or shopping, has become a national habit. We generally start the day late.

Sleep until dawn, unless you're a student or a worker with an attendance stick on your head. Everyone starts his day by sitting at the zenith point of the sun's rays. Then they complain that the day flew away, oblivious to the fact that the blessings are only in their imagination.

The most significant source of unhappiness in our lives is the incorrect distribution of the day. The day was created by Allah Almighty for work, and the night was created for rest. Except for humans, all creatures follow this natural law. Birds venture out in the morning in search of food and return to their nests as soon as the sun sets.

For centuries, their routines have remained unchanged. In the process of becoming modern, we humans disobey Allah. As a result, our time was fortunate. Because those who go against nature will never be able to improve. This is a natural law.

Lack of Sincerity

Today's man has become self-centered. They only want to do things that will benefit them. The decision to do everything is made with greed and lust in mind. We now prioritise only those tasks that appear to be of personal, worldly, and immediate benefit, ostensibly avoiding unnecessary tasks by lamenting the scarcity of time.

We prioritise our personal interests, such as jobs, business, and having fun with friends, but we consider other activities, such as spending time with parents, caring for relatives' well-being, or building mosques, to be unnecessary. But we have forgotten that a lack of sincerity has not only depleted the blessings of our work, but has also deprived us of peace in our lives.

Lack of Concentration

Let us admit that we have no shortage of sincerity, but we must also admit that we are incapable of focusing on our own affairs. We try to do a lot of things at once in this fast-paced world. We are unable to focus on a single task in this multitasking cycle.

No work is finished on time, and the blame is placed squarely on the passage of time. Many of our tasks may be completed before the end of the twenty-four hours if we get into the habit of doing one task at a time with complete attention. Time is galloping like a wild horse. It will continue to elude us as long as we do not control it with full concentration, planning, and sincerity. And all we'll do is keep shaking hands.
