Water is life
As we all know, water is life; as there is no water, there is no life.70% of our earth is covered with water, and water contributes 60% of our body weight. As I am an Indian, there are two lines in our scripture that "Jala bihune Christi NASA, Jala battle Christi NASA" means that life is unsustainable if there is no water. If there is more water over the limit, there must arise flood, cyclone, and destroy the lives... The first form of life is originated from the water.
Source of water:- water cover 70%of the total area of Earth. It compromises
1.Surface water source -like river, ponds, waterfall, sea, oceans.
2.Groundwater sources.
3.saltwater sources
4.stormwater source
5.ice cap.
Water is the functional unit of life...
As our body does physiological functions to provide energy which works as a super role to make us functional. For these physiological actions, our cells need water. Water is enriched with minerals and nutrients. It boosts energy. That's why when we feel thirsty and tired, we immediately require water. Water is a molecule made up of 2 hydrogen atoms and 1 oxygen atom. Water plays an important role in digestion. As we eat food, it helps break down the complex food molecule into a simpler form, which further undergoes metabolic processes to produce energy. It maintains the body hydrated. It helps detoxification like sweating, urinating, etc. water plays a main important ingredient in our food. It regulates body temperature, machinery for tissue. It hydrates our skin and gives a perfect glow to our skin. We should drink as much as the quantity of water we can.
Uses of water...5 most uses of water
.
1.Drinking
2.Agriculture
3.Recreation
4.Industry and commercial purposes
5.Energy/thermoelectric
Water is so special..... there is no other alternative present for water in the universe. Water is a renewable resource.
Water conservation.
Due to improper use and management, it has become a scarce resource in many parts. Water conservation uncovers strategies and activities to guard the quality and quantity of water by which we can fulfill current and future demands.
Overexploitation and excessive use make the water inappropriate for life.
A major source of water pollution.
Overexploitation, increasing population, industrialization, poor management of sewage. By polluting water, man is striking ax at his own legs. Oil spillage from ships. The atomic explosion of some power-crazy nations.Industrial and domestic sewage discharge.
Ways of water conservation
1.constructing dams on rivers. Dams solve many problems like soil conservation, irrigation, flood control, generating hydroelectric power.
2.Recycling-scientifically clean the wastewater from daily household works to make it suitable for drinking and other purposes.
3.Rainwater harvesting - it is the best, cheap environment and pocket-friendly way. By building roof water Harvesting, making tanks on the roof, further, it is used for household works
4.chemical processes like chlorination, fluoridation. It will help conserve water, and it further helps decrease lakhs of deaths preventing water-borne diseases.
Water conservation is critical, considering the rate at which it is used.
Water conservation is not the government's duty. As dutiful humans, it is our responsibility to take atleast a single step towards it. If we cannot take a big step, we can only take tiny steps like using less water, making roof water conservation, etc. As we know, a single candle is capable of enlightening a whole room. So our tiny efforts must impact several lives.
Water is in our basic need our life
