Why Was My Article Rejected

Article marketing has become a major trend in online advertising today. Many marketers use articles as their first, and only one, way to generate traffic and search engine optimization. However, some marketers complain that article marketing does not seem to work for them, especially as posting their articles is often rejected.

I own and maintain a three-page directory. One is a general reference and two are niche indicators. I get hundreds of posts posted and every day I refuse a lot. When I first started I would carefully enter the exact reason for each rejection but now the post is so high that all I can do is keep my head above water. I feel it is very important to try to turn articles into fashion as early as possible so that I am about to speed up now (and I am lagging for weeks on my regular catalog).

However, I can share these tips in an open letter to topic advertisers who do not understand why their articles are rejected in my catalog - and other references in the article.

The main reasons for my rejection of the article include:

Reason 1: Active links in the body of the article. The only place I want to see the active link is the author's toolbox. This is common with most text lists.

Reason 2: An article is not part of this list. This is usually true with a large percentage of rejection of my niche index. If the list is about online promotion do not post your articles about breast augmentation!

Reason 3: The article was not submitted in the appropriate category. If I have a positive attitude or a genuine interest in the subject, I might reconsider it. If I see an author who always brings quality content I might re-edit it. If it is in the right category I can move it to the most specified section. However, if it is delivered without any thought or effort then I will probably reject it. If an author can't bother to choose the right category then why should I take the time?

Reason 4: Unusual English. If there are any typos or incorrect grammar in the title or summary I am not impressed and will probably refuse to post.

Reason 5: Topic spam. If I find the number of articles in the same article and by the same author with the same titles and summaries I will be blaming the article spam. Instead of fixing what articles may provide unique quality content I simply reject all of them.

Reason 6: Unexplained topics. If I don't think your New Jersey Divorce Attorney article will add anything to my list I might choose to reject it. Similarly, if I cannot say what your article is about from the title, summary, or first paragraphs I will not continue reading.

Reason 7: Green advertising. These are subject indexes so I do not want to get out of the press or direct ads. Articles should include information about something other than any business you are trying to promote.

The simple truth is that these are my references so I use my editorial judgment about appropriate content. I use feeds and articles from my index on my website and blogs, and my point is that the article should provide interesting and/or interesting information to the target audience. If it is not an article I want to see on my site then I choose to reject it.
