The Cinematography Agency hosted a press conference last September 8, in honour of the XIV Tashkent International Film Festival, which is titled "Pearl of the Silk Road."
The "Days of Cinema of the SCO countries" will kick off the event in Tashkent on September 13, and the grand opening will be the following day. Approximately 500 individuals involved in the making of films, including actors and actresses, directors and cinematographers, producers and film reviewers, film scholars, and media representatives, will attend the festival of cinematographic art, according to the festival's press office.
And yup, Johnny Depp is expected to make an appearance along with such a huge number of well-known artists.
Along with this announcement, it was revealed that Depp will be presenting a collaboration with Andrew Levitas during the film festival.

In a post made on the festival’s official Facebook account, they announced that the duo will be talking about their previous work, Minamata, and give everyone who will tune in insight from the actor’s perspective.
And while there’s no clarification regarding a possible award, fans are still happy because Depp was given a platform to share previous stories about his work and passion, and that alone is equivalent to an award itself.
I mean, for him to be given such an opportunity after he almost got cancelled by the entire industry? Talk about a comeback.
