When you look at the Google AdSense program, you really wonder how much you can make with such a program, and you probably think you can't do as much as you would in traditional advertising programs.
Google, however, keeps a high secret about how much google advertisers pay per click targeted at their site and similarly how much AdSense ad owners make on their websites.
While there is nothing official, rumors are circulating online about the amount of money a website can get from AdSense. And many people (illegally) have disclosed how much they do with AdSense. There are reports of people raising more than $1,000 a month using AdSense.
There are also stories of people over $100,000.00 a month, but it is hard to believe such stories. The fact of the matter is that if you have a small website and just want it to support itself, and you do not want to reach your pocket for its cost of repairs, you can probably do this with AdSense.
AdSense is also good for people who host multiple pages. Although the mentioned pages do not generate much traffic on their own, each click counts, and you may earn extra money by doing this. And that proves that sometimes value is just as important as quality.
It does not say how much money you will make using Google AdSense, but you can plan for yourself, before you start, by looking at a few things.
First, the number of visits you receive daily. Although there is no way to measure this accurately, you can usually make the safe assumption that if you have a lot of clicks in a day, you will be making good money.
Also, this depends on what your site is about. If your site is about anything popular (music, anything) you will definitely get more ad clicks. These have a related coefficient, called CTR (click-through rate).
Basically, it translates to the fact that if more visitors to your site click on ads, you will be making more money. And the best way to do this is to have popular content on your site, making sure the links direct users to popular content as well.
Then there is the location and number of ads on your website. While you do not want to exaggerate, having a lot of links will no doubt make you more money as a website manager. Believe it or not, if you add more ads to an important part of your site, visitors can always skip (and make sure many do just that).
There is something between art and science in setting your ads. People tend to look at certain areas and never look at others, and knowing this, a website writer and / or webmaster can do a lot to increase revenue with AdSense.
All in all, the amount of money you make with AdSense depends on many factors. But if you have a site with good content and / or pages, and you see a lot of people every day, you can bet you will make a lot of money with AdSense.
