In that case, you can't just start teaching the child by okay, this is a child, okay, he needs this; no, you need to understand the child first now you know that the child has an absorbent mind. The Montessori directors tries to key into that sensitive period and introduced all of those morals for the child to learn and absorb now she doesn't just child this is how you do this is no she also shows it so she's a model right so the principal material for the learning of the child is actually the teacher that's how it is in the Montessori classroom it is actually the teacher because the teacher models every single thing the teacher doesn't just stand in the classroom and be rude and shout from here to there no there are certain ways how you can walk to the child meet the child at his level have an eye and eye contact talk to the child to his understanding and the child follows you the Montessori method is particular about that now we use observation to know the child if you have been observing your child and you see that this child is lacking in this aspect so he needs more presentation on that particular subject matter so that's the difference these are just some of the difference about the Montessori method of

The aspect of the Montessori method is that we do practical life now; what do I mean by particle life are those things that we do every day is like our everyday life, so children get to see your work at home they get to see you do all the little chills cleaning you know mopping doing the dishes they want to do it as well so when you walk into the Montessori classroom I assure you what you will see there will marvel you right you see all sorts of miniature items for children to walk with the same things we use at home the same things they have in the class just that they are child six so that the child can be able to manipulate it and hold it and use it joyfully when you walk into the Montessori class sometimes you can see them mopping yes you can see them washing dishes yes they do all of that you can see them serving dishing food for each other yes they learned all of that in the

Montessori classroom that is why I say it is slightly different from the traditional way of teaching, and I tell you when children see that they come home. You know, they try to do it as well, so we try to encourage parents to let their children do all these things at home; it is a way of life please encourage them to.

Also, you know do all the little chores it is a way of inculcating good manners as well in children values good manners they get to develop their ideas and ideologies that are lifelong in them now with this aspect children love to learn I tell you they will wake up every day yearning. They'll be the one to wake you up because mommy daddy I want to go to school I want to learn right because learning is fun learning is interesting for them it is a way where they get to love learning, so they grow loving to learn they grow up loving to learn loving to study right.

I remember in my secondary school days where when I just see the teacher or the moths teacher I am scared, but it is not like that in the Montessori method right children love to learn when they go for a break they go outdoor to learn it is not just break time a recess time no it is also an avenue for learning because when they go to swing, or they go to slide they play with sand, they can trace with sand they can do all sorts learning is everywhere for the Montessori child it is not just in the classroom it doesn't just stop in the classroom also we don't just foster you know um learning how to write your exams and pass your test no however the monetary method fosters a lifelong love for learning what

We start from known to unknown it is not like the traditional school where they are abstract learners you do two plus two you you know they do two plus two five plus five without actually feeling what five feels like knowing the quantity of five you know so that's what the Montessori directors does she helps the child to understand concretely before he goes doing it abstractly now she helps the child to understand it from known to unknown so the child sees a particular thing and he knows it right and he's able to rate to relate it to the unknown that is what the Montessori directress does because the Montessori director's models respect to the children right she also learns to respect the child now you find children concentrating in a particular activity we don't just interrupt them you can't just interrupt the child when he's concentrating no you allow the child to sup out that thing that he is trying to you know get from that particular activity so we model respect right by not interrupting the child while doing during his you know activity.
