Why Traditional gaming is not only for playing games it also have a deeper motive

.This is a list of games that used to be played by children, some of which are still being played today. Traditional children's games do not include commercial products such as board games but do include games which require props such as hopscotch or marbles (toys go in List of toys unless the toys are used in multiple games or the single game played is named after the toy; thus "jump rope" is a game, while "Jacob's ladder" is a toy). Despite being transmitted primarily through word of mouth due to not being considered suitable for academic study or adult attention, traditional games have, "not only failed to disappear but have also evolved over time into new versions."[1]

Traditional children's games are defined, "as those that are played informally with minimal equipment, that children learn by example from other children, and that can be played without reference to written rules. These games are usually played by children between the ages of 7 and 12, with some latitude on both ends of the age range."[2] "Children's traditional games (also called folk games) are those that are passed from child to child, generation to generation, informally by word of mouth," and most children's games include at least two of the following six features in different proportion: physical skill, strategy, chance, repetition of patterns creativity, and vertigo. Games are a critical way of developing and inculcating character, discipline, and personalities in kids as well as adults. Some people think that traditional games are better than modern games in helping children develop their abilities, and I acquiesce to this view. This essay will further discuss the said perspective. I am of the opinion that traditional games resonate with the innocence of childhood. Allow me to paint you a picture – it is a sunny day during the summer break, and a bunch of kids has gathered to play games like hide and seek, catch, or just run amok on their own. They also play games like snakes and ladder, monopoly, carom, etc. All of these are, in my regard, classic examples of traditional games that are fun and yet simple to play. Traditional games develop both the brain and the physique, as it yields both. For example, when playing Monopoly or Business, the player should think one step ahead of the rest to retire with most properties or money. Similarly, playing catch, Hide and Seek results in a lot of running, thus developing the physique, making the kids stronger, quicker, and more agile. Also, during summers, many people resort to taking a dip in the swimming pool and playing different sorts of water games. These traditional games do not resort to violence like modern games and create solid relationships among the players.
