Most of the people in the present world are all busy with something. But the only things anime fans are busy with is anime. One of the best anime that was aired in 2014 is Tokyo ghoul. The story of Tokyo ghoul revolves around Ken Kaneki, who changed into a man-eting ghoul due to some uneventful incidents. This show has some important character developments as well as storyline. Tokyo Ghoul was adapted from the manga of the same name, which was written and illustrated by Sui Ishida.
Kaneki's life changed as he realized he was a ghoul. His entire world shook before him. Since he could only survive by feeding on humans, he lost his will to survive and was in total denial. Being a ghoul took so much from him, but he still had a strong desire to live, so he was taken in by a coffee shop owned by a ghoul. They taught him how to blend into human society and how to be a ghoul. Kaneki finds a hope in the coffee shop, which he couldn't find being along.
Touka Kirishima, a ghoul nearly as the same age as that of Kaneki inspired him live. Each and every character in the show had a unique personality as well as reasons for being in the anteiku, the coffee shop which took in Kaneki. Slowly Kaneki started feeling like home in the coffee shop and made the workers his family. Kaneki built a strong relationship with them and cared deeply for them. But Kaneki peaceful days came to halt when war broke out between ghouls and humans. The conflict in kaneki's mind becomes unbearable, but the only thing he knew was to never leave his family, that is the workers of Anteiku no matter the cost.
To protect them, he needed power, so he joined up with the ghoul in spite of being a former human. Each battle along the ghouls made him stronger and stronger, and he became to known as eye patch, since he wore a mask which covered his one eye. He was considered extremely dangerous among humans as well as ghoul. After certain battles, his power became unrivaled by both the groups, and thus he became the king.
Tokyo ghoul also has certain interesting emotional scenes which makes the viewers to understand the twisted conflicts as well as kaneki's emotions. This anime being adapted for the manga proves to provide an interesting watch to the viewers. Tokyo ghoul has many fans and has good rating while compared to that of other similar anime shows. It is also holding a clean record of one of the top selling-manga series. The narration as well as the character development of the show is quite extraordinary to say the least. It is no wonder to consider Tokyo ghoul as a masterpiece since, the animation, storyline, character development are all off the charts. Tokyo ghoul consists of 4 seasons, and each season has its own share of improvements. After watching all the season, one could never criticize the credibility of the show.
