From: a girl, a daughter, a sister and a wife. With a harsh nucleus, I am writing this letter to society, as she has created a mental jail and is a cause of death of dreams of many girls. They are just breathing but are not alive. Girls are brought up with distinction from boys, they are told from the very childhood that they should compromise against men, why? Because men are men, the superior beings. Mothers are mostly responsible for promoting this school of thought, as they are feeding kids with this poison. They treat son like if he is a king and daughters like maids, maids of the whole family and specially of their husbands. Daughters are nurtured with shyness and a feeling of inferiority, while sons with confidence and superiority. Daughters are taught to nurse brothers like pressing their cloths, washing their clothes and sons are taught to order your sisters. Even if a girl is on job, the society still expects her to work at home as well while her husband and brothers rests at home without job. Islam has given women so much respect and a standard status, which the society has very wisely taken away. Islam says,"Heaven lies under the feet of mothers", but I have seen those mothers getting beaten by the sons as they learned it from their fathers.
If a girl do not know how to cook, how to wash utensils, then she is a misfit in society. If a girl is talkative then she is labelled as bold and shameless, but if she is quite then is a perfect wife material. Women are weak being I mean physically weak and men are strong. Men have more power and strength, so they can work more and the real role of a woman in this world is to rear children and bring them up and that is the most difficult task in the world, delivering a child is like meeting death face to face and a man job is to help her and protect her, but the scene is totally opposite in society a lady rears a child along with working at home as well as doing job outside, and if a woman complains about the hardships she is facing then she is replied with a stupid answer that is "you are not the only one facing it".
Prophet peace be upon him taught us the true living, but I think we did not get it. According to him"the best person among you is the one who is good to his family'. Parents and society drags the confidence out from a girl. She is taught to be serene and shy every part of time. Modesty is good, but shyness is ill confidence, and ill confidence is the end of everything. If you can not face people then how will you go out for education, how will you leave your home after marriage to live with totally new people, how will you exit out for job.
