Modern Love Hyderabad is of six episodes, each episode is of different story. This series was too good and refreshing. After winning audience's hearts with beautiful and unique love stories with Modern Love Mumbai, Amazon Prime Video is once again receiving praises for launching the second local and fictionalized edition of the international series set in Hyderabad. Inspired by the famous New York Times column, Modern Love Hyderabad told 6 stories set in the unique milieu of Hyderabad, highlighting different facets of love and human relationships. Every episode had done its own magic, but the episode "why did she leave me there" Has really touched me, tears rolled in my eyes while watching this episode. Each story has got a different backdrop, but all of them happen in the bustling city of Hyderabad. As promised in the trailer, Modern Love Hyderabad goes beyond the man-woman relationship, and the series captures the often forgotten and overlooked bonds of affection and attachment. The writing is undoubtedly the biggest asset of the show. The original show was customized according to the taste and nativity of our audience. Be it about the mother and daughter who are forced to stay during the pandemic, or the overprotective father who secretly spies on his daughter for her well-being, the writing team did an exceptional job.
All the episodes were superbly pictured and well shown, including the emotions which are connected with nowadays human relations. The show highlights the complexities involved in relationships in modern times in a breezy manner. The conversations are well written and have depth. Some episodes are well-connected to real life and well-balanced. While the stories may seem ordinary, be rest assured that the talented cast who have put in their heart and soul in their respective characters, make each episode extraordinary and enjoyable. In Each and every episode, the actors have performed very well. Some of the finest actors from the Telugu film industry cast together in this series, making these characters relevant and want to tug at your heartstrings. The stories are very simple in nature. Yet they are narrated in a light-hearted manner with many overwhelming and heartwarming moments, and they entertain us emotionally. The essence of the historical city was superbly combined with the stories.
On the flip side, the narration in a few episodes isn’t that great, and they feel a bit dragged. The editor could have cropped off a few scenes in a few episodes to make the stories more engrossing. The pace of the show is somewhat slow, and it could have been handled well. As the stories are very simple, and they make us feel a bit predictable towards the end of them. Few characters get less screen space, which doesn’t make them unforgettable. The ending of a couple of episodes could have been even better to create more impact.
Technically, the show is outstanding. Modern Love Hyderabad is a beautifully made web series with spell binding performances from the core cast. It's great and a nice one time watch. Feel good web series and happy to watch it.
