Story

Β
Two friends are searching for their long-lost companion. They revisit their college days and recall the memories of their friend who inspired them to think differently, even as the rest of the world called them "idiots."
Farhan Qureshi and Raju Rastogi want to re-unite with their fellow collegian, Rancho, after faking a stroke aboard an Air India plane and excusing himself from his wife - trouserless - respectively. En route, they encounter another student, Chatur Ramalingam, now a successful businessman, who reminds them of a bet they had undertaken 10 years ago. The trio, while recollecting hilarious antics, including their run-ins with the Dean of Delhi's Imperial College of Engineering, Viru Sahastrabudhe, race to locate Rancho at his last known address - little knowing the secret that was kept from them all this time.

3 Idiots is a Bollywood production that flashes back and forth between the present day and the characters' time in college. It starts with old friends Qureshi and Raju Rastogi, learning that their college pal, Rancho, was finally found. The movie follows their travels to find their long lost friend while flashing back to the events of their school years, where they often got into amusing shenanigans involving the Dean of Delhi's Imperial College of Engineering, Viru Sahastrabudhe, and dealt with some serious events that many people encounter in everyday life.
Β
Farhan and Raju find their biggest college rival Chatur that their missing friend Ranchoddas (Rancho) has been traced. The trio starts their journey to find him. The flashback reveals Rancho, Raju, and Farhan were engineering students, and Rancho always believed that a person should be capable rather than a bookworm. It will be a way to success. He always got in a tiff with Chatur and college director Viru Sahastrabuddhe (Virus) but fell in love with his daughter Pia. Things were going fine for them as they also cleared their first-year exams in the present day. They reach the house of Rancho, where they find his father has passed away, and the person who claims to be Rancho is someone else.

Message

Rancho (Aamir Khan), who plays a funny yet brilliant college adult, has shown many lessons to learn throughout the movie. I want to bring forward my favorite quotes and lessons learned from them:
Β
1. Don't run behind the success: Don't run behind the success; achieve excellence first; the success will automatically come looking for you.
2. Creativity: Be always creative in your answers, work & things you do which helps you become more capable of your own.
3. Learning is everywhere: Learning isn't just about being inside a classroom and listening to teachers, but it's there everywhere. You need to grab and grow with it.
4. Do it with a passion: Are you passionate about what you are doing? Then it's for you! You need to love what you do, and that is when you can go get greater things at ease.
Β
5. Never Race: Don't ever race just because someone else is doing it to achieve something on a timeline. Always try to gain some knowledge and expertise.
6. Say "All is well": Probably the most popular chant words of 2009 in India. Rancho's core mantra is chanting the words to help himself and his friends get rid of the fear. He says, "This will not solve all problems but will surely give guts to face them."
7. Ignore others: There are naysayers, jealous, stupid, hatred people around us. Ignore them and move on. Remember? "If you stop and throw a stone at every dog that barks, you will never reach your destination
."
Take a risk: Challenge yourself and take a risk to do something. The worst thing that will ever happen is "failure"; if so, switch over.
After You will see this movie, Tell me what you have learned from this movie.
Will this lesson be helpful for you in the future.

This movie totally changed my view of perception; This is a true masterpiece. It completely reflected the reality of students' dreams, goals, ambitions. This movie will always be very close to my heart. It taught me countless lessons, showed me the difference between dreams and expectations. This movie is truly an Oscar deserved.
Β
The unmatchable acting of all the characters, specifically "AMIR KHAN," has astonished all the audience. I can really feel how their reactions made every scene real. I would hardly recommend anyone reading this; please go and watch this master blaster if you havenβt yet.
It is a nonfiction movie with real characters. 3 Idiots was a gem from the Mr. Perfect of Bollywood, Aamir Khan. The most epic dialogue of the movie, which was said a lot of, times was "ALL IS WELL." The harrowing scene of the movie was when Pia's sister Mona was delivering a baby through a vacuum cleaner, and Pia was guiding through a webcam.
