As you probably already have an idea from the video, there are so many reasons why is so radioactive in the industry right now, and it seems her shortcomings just might be catching up to her right now, as a new announcement made by a pretty public figure has just revealed some news about Amber involving the upcoming sequel of the Aquaman movie, and to say things aren’t looking particularly great for her right now would be a pretty huge understatement. Nothing much here, just another expert from the film industry debunking all the claims by Amber’s team that she’s somehow comparable to Jason Momoa, the lead character in the Aquaman franchise, and recently, we’ve gotten yet another confirmation that they are indeed incomparable, as revelations are now saying that there might be some major editing in the film involving Amber’s role, and she just might get an unpleasant surprise when the movie is out. Well, might be unpleasant to her, but pretty good news to a lot of people, and this is only where it begins.
Throughout the trial, there were several expert witnesses brought up from both sides, and while some of them gave adequate analysis and witness statements, some did so with style, and one of these is Morgan Tramaine, yup, the same guy that didn’t study law but managed to hand Elaine her butt during the trial. According to Trainer, who is a big name in the entertainment news industry, the Aquaman 2 movie, which Amber Heard is in, and has been causing so much stir online, is being delayed for some time. Specifically, Tramaine tweeted; “Aquaman 2 delayed 9 months to December 2023 because it needs “more time in post.”
Now, according to his explanation, this delay might be because of editions and improvements on the special effects used in the film, which is pretty much standard practice with huge movies like this, or it could be the studio literally editions Amber Heard out of the movie, and what makes these theories so interesting is that both cases are just as plausible.
You see, while the trial was going on, a lot of people weighed in to talk about their involvements with both stars, and one of those was DC Films chief Walter Hamada, who claimed the studio considered dropping Amber Heard from Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom due to her "lack of chemistry" with Jason Momoa.
"They didn't have a lot of chemistry together," Hamada said, according to The Hollywood Reporter. "The reality is it's not uncommon in movies for two leads to not have chemistry and it's sort of movie magic and editorial - the ability to put on performances with the magic of a great score and how you put the pieces together, you can fabricate that chemistry.
"At the end of the day when you watch the movie, it looks like they have great chemistry. But I just know that through the course of post-production, it took a lot of effort to get there. This one was more difficult because of the lack of chemistry between the two."
Bad as this is, it isn’t the only evidence proving this move by the studio could be purely meant to cut down Amber’s role. You see, because the defamation case revealed that Amber had made up her story against Johnny, a lot of people on social media have been calling for the studio to drop her as a cast member, and in recent times, it has gotten even more serious, as people are storming Warner Bros studios with placards asking that Amber be dropped, and besides that, there is also a petition online that she be dropped from the movie, and guess how many signatures it’s gotten at the moment? Over 4.6 million people have signed it.
Now, putting all of this into perspective, it doesn’t exactly seem far-fetched that the studio would explore dropping her for the fear of their movie flopping, especially because people are already considering boycotting the movie expressly because of Amber.
One user wrote; “Nope. I’ll pass on this film. Not that she was even memorable in the other films with Aquaman. I remember Aquaman but I don't remember her. And I’m not making that up, I'm being serious, she's non-memorable.”
I mean, if a multinational company has to pick between losing hundreds of millions of dollars on a movie and taking out one 10-minute-long character, I think we all have an idea of which one they would pick.
But remember, these are just theories and opinions, and as such should be viewed accordingly.
