This year also tableau will not feature on republic day in  raises question

Patna. These days, the arrows of statements are running a lot between the two big players of Bihar politics,  United and BJP. These two allies are seen standing face to face on many issues. First there was a Tu-Tu, Main-I on the statement given on Emperor Ashoka, then BJP and  did not shy away from questioning each other even regarding the  Hooch Tragedy. Now once again BJP has raised questions on the government and officials. The matter is related to the tableaux coming out on the  in Delhi on Republic Day on 26 January.

A senior official of the state information and public relations department (IPRD) told this newspaper on Thursday that they have not received any information, which means they are not doing it this time as well.

“It’s already January 21 and less than 5 days are left for the R-Day parade. So far, we have not received any information, besides it will be difficult for us to do it now. If we were selected then we would have found out at least a week ago,” the official said.

The department and the selected agency jointly prepared the concept and the model of the tableau by incorporation all components of the JJH-Mission, which included water conservation, boosting green cover and farming among others.

“Since it’s a comprehensive theme, no change was required in that. One official each from the IPRD and the selected agency presented the proposal before the selection committee. We will try and be more innovative next time,” officials said.

The state last featured in the R-Day parade in 2016 when it represented a tableau based on the celebrations of ‘100 years of Mahatma Gandhi’s

Actually this will be the sixth consecutive year when the tableau of Bihar will not be visible in Delhi on Republic Day. Raising the question, BJP spokesperson Ram Sagar Singh said that it is sad that the tableau of Bihar is not getting a place continuously on 26 January. The whole country and the world see the tableau coming out in Delhi. Understands the art, culture and development of the state. Those officers who prepare the draft of the tableau and send it to Delhi, if they do not meet on that scale, then the government should take action against such officers.

RJD and Congress also raised questions

The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) has also raised questions on Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for not participating in the tableau to be taken out on Delhi’s Rajpath on January 26. Party leader Shakti Yadav said that it is unfortunate that there is an NDA government in the country and the state, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar talks about the principles of Mahatma Gandhi. But in Delhi, Gandhi’s ideas cannot be shown in the form of a tableau. He said that what is more sad than this is that Nitish Kumar does not even register a protest on this.

At the same time, Congress spokesperson Karmaveer termed it as shameful and said that earlier Nitish Kumar used to demand a special state, but now the tableau of Bihar on the Rajpath on Republic Day is not even luck. The government must now know how the bureaucracy of Bihar is.
