Why are battery technologies not improving in the past few decades?
Today, I will talk about how every type of technology is improving, but why is it not happening in battery technology. The batteries that we were used in 1900, the same batteries are using in today's smartphones.
Why are these battery technologies are not improving?
In simple language, Battery technology is improving, but it is all the manufacturers that make phones. They are making their devices thinner. If you want a thinner smartphone, then the battery will be less. Now we can't put a higher mah battery in such a thin phone.
You must have seen that all the phones with higher mah example: 6000mah, 7000mah, etc. which are a little bit thick. Because the battery mah increases, the battery size also increases, and if people want to make the smartphone thinner than the normal one, they have to reduce the battery mah. Battery technology is increasing, but more than that, manufacturers are going on thinning their phones.

So, Right now, all of you will question why we are not changing the battery technology to that which can store maximum energy in minimum space. Today, We will try to know, Can we use any other technology to replace the lithium-ion, lithium polymer batteries.
These are some techniques that we can use to replace these lithium-ion, lithium polymer batteries:
1. Solar Batteries:
The first option is Solar energy. But you don't always need to keep the sunlight on your phone. You can't always walk in sunlight with your phone. Those who work in corporate, live in the forest, live in buildings, where will sunlight come from? And it's not possible to stay in front of sunlight all the time and always get a supply of sunlight.

2. Nuclear Power Batteries:
The next thing is Nuclear Power; you must have heard that the battery with nuclear power lasts for 20 years. Once that battery is made, then it will last for 20 years. So what is the danger, let me tell you. Carrying radioactive radiation and nuclear power in your pocket can be the right decision, not at all. o will last for 20 years, but o power delivery will not give that much. I believe that o will last for 20 years, but o will not deliver so much power in such a small size that your phone keeps running, and if it is made of big size, then you can even die. So we cannot even use nuclear power like a battery.

3. Thermal Batteries
The next thing comes Thermal Energy, something that keeps burning. patrol, combustion engine from which we can take energy. I am telling all this as a possibility. So, we can't operate the phone from patrol.

4. Mechanical Batteries
The next thing comes to the Mechanical Energy, which has to be rotated with the hand; the phone will shut down if the hand stops. So, even this, we can't run the phone.

There are many other techniques used to replace the lithium-ion, lithium polymer batteries, but it has not yet come in that size in which phones have come, in which we have lithium-ion batteries. Whatever Technology of lithium-ion is made many years ago, so it has improved so much that it can store a lot of power in a small size. Now the attention of all these manufacturers is improving the batteries, making the phone thinner, and charging it faster. So, you must have seen Turbocharging,
VOOC charging and other fast charging technologies are coming in all of the phones that come nowadays. Due to which the batteries are getting a full charge in 10 minutes. Earlier it used to be in 1 hour and nowadays full charge is being done in 10 to 15 minutes only. The battery is thin, and the capacity is less, but the charging technology has increased so that in the same thin battery, you can use it for 6-7 hours, and after that, if you put it in charge, then it will be charged immediately and then you can use it. You will get the same output somewhere, but you will have to charge a little more.
