Why the Bible The Source Of All Copywriting Secrets

have been a Bible student for most of my life. There are many reasons why this book remains the first best-selling number each year. I think it is your source of ALL wisdom, yes, including effective writing! What do I mean by this? Simply put, all copying techniques can be found FIRST in the Bible. This may seem like a strong statement but I challenge the reader to prove otherwise. While researching my latest ebook “77 Ways to Skyrocket Your Website’s Conversion”, I kept saying to myself “but that is in the Bible… that is in the Bible.” I would like to look at FIVE principles of copying and show you that they are as old as the Scriptures. This article is not intended to 'transform' you to read with an open mind ... are you ready? Asambe! 1. The benefits of stress are not factors. This is the place of Eden. The serpent went to the woman Eve to get her to take the forbidden fruit. Do you enjoy the color, flavor, and texture of the fruit? No, he is selling Eve for a profit. "Your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as God…" (Genesis 3: 4). Now that is an advantage, it is not a factor at all. And did Eve fall into it? He certainly did. That may seem like a 'bad' example - an obvious deception. But notice that the book of Revelation promises a "conqueror". Eternal life, health, recognition, wealth and luxury without a mortgage. 2. Use more evidence. If you have a limited knowledge of the Bible, you know that the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John form the first four books of the New Testament. They all cover the same ground and share many similar stories. So why would we need four different people to say the same thing? You see, they all wanted to tell THEIR story about Rabbi Jesus Christ. So the authors (all satisfied customers) tell of the life-changing encounters they have had - the more evidence improves. The whole Bible tells stories of people who came in contact with supernatural forces and how it affected their lives. In fact, Jesus told his disciples after His miraculous resurrection that the whole of the Old Testament was really about Him. 3. “Create harmful login errors and addresses explicitly” That is the title of chapter 3 of Dan Kennedy's author's book, The Ultimate Sales Letter. He goes on to explain that if you openly acknowledge the delay in your gift it means that your loyalty increases rapidly with the customer. For example, your price may be higher than your competitors so you could say: “If you want to save a few dollars then you can find many other companies that will agree to offer you‘ quick fixes ’. But we provide a complete and professional service, which is why it is so expensive ” You agree that it is expensive but shows why - the customer gets top service. In the Gospels we see many disciples who wanted to follow Jesus and he clearly told them it was a sacrificial journey. He told them plainly that it involved a "cross", leaving father and mother behind, and even possible death - but you will find eternal life in the process. Talk about “harmful entry. 4. Limit your application to encourage returnees. This is a very important aspect of the "call to action" of any sales letter. By nature, people tend to put things off. We always postpone what needs to be done now so that ‘later’ doesn’t come. This is why the copyist must indicate that the offer is limited or a special gift for 'limited time only'. In many parts of the Bible the ‘call to action’ we see the same warning to the procrastinators. "Today, if you hear my voice, do not harden your hearts." (Hebrews 3: 7) In the case of the great flood, procrastinators were found outside the ark. Jesus told a story about a greedy farmer who built big storehouses to keep his grain from going unnoticed by that night. Jesus did not send just any of his listeners to think about this. Today ... now, it was the only time anyone had. His message was “DO NOW!” 5. Research your potential customers to identify their problems and needs. Dan Kennedy refers to this as "customer entry". Head penetration and customer experience - go through his moccasins. The whole Christmas story is about Jesus getting into the skin of a customer. The writer of the book of Hebrews describes Jesus as being sensitive to our feelings and weaknesses. He became like one of us to better understand the “customer”. That is why he could speak to the needs of the human heart with such authority because he knew what was in man. I have just briefly reviewed 5 copy principles but this applies to the entire board. Whether you accept the Bible as one book or not, it is undeniable that principles exist. I would like to hear from the reader if he would like to challenge me to find a useful non-biblical copying program.
