Could anybody have guessed a decade in the past that we’d see Evan McGregor again as Obi-Wan Kenobi in his very, very own Star Wars live-action series? When Revenge of the Sith closed the e-book on the Prequel Trilogy in 2005, it appeared like the actor’s flip as the Jedi Master was once over. But as historic Ben’s best student says in The Rise of Skywalker, “No one’s ever in reality gone,” mainly when it comes to Disney’s very nostalgic model of the galaxy far, a ways away.
The six-episode Obi-Wan Kenobi preferences are up 10 years after the Prequels. The Jedi are all however extinct, barring a few fugitives in hiding.
