JAI BHI M: A TRUE STORY
We all know how difficult it is to take the true stories as a movie. In south India, a Tamil movie was released based on the real incidents. In a small gap, some politicians wanted to blow up something tiny into big. They always wanted to sue against someone who is voicing out the real matters. It clearly shows that they hate when the truth is coming to limelight. They want others to know the truth and their true colors.
We all should feel proud, as an Indian or as a Tamil-an, that our cinema is placed at the top of IMDb for high good ratings. It is highly getting good reviews for the truth-based story, which has happened in a small village in the real life.
The story, actor, producer or director are not the ones to blame, because “Truth alone triumphs”. They have rights to take movies, if they give statement that they are only taking it, in a way it has taken place in the real life. Without doing any research, nobody can really take any true stories.
They can only spread hatred, this is what they try to prove again and again. As a leader, we must know to respect an individual or a group of people living in the same place as they are. After getting education, still some people are useless and behaving like illiterate people. As humans, we should know how can we mingle the other people.
But these kinds of people are only animal who cannot let others live in peace. Like us, everyone is living their life. When somebody is going through hard times, we must help them out. When they help us, we should definitely return our favor to them. If we have servants working under us, we must help them when they need us to do that. But we are accusing on them, if something goes missing even after knowing their honesty towards us.
Actor Surya is accused of degrading a particular community in a story line, which was filmed and released on Amazon Prime. The film is successfully running and getting appreciation from different sides of the world. What is interested in this is Surya, and the community leaders, are from the same community.
A leader should show the good and legal ways to his followers, but we could see straight opposite in the recent happenings right after this movie is released. Anyhow, nobody can do anything about the movie. For the hard work they have committed with their project, they are now celebrated with the movie. It is said in many reviews that the portrayal of the characters are strong and natural.
This movie has portrayed how low caste people are treated badly, how easily they are blamed for a crime they’ve not done, how the actual fact and its incidents were hidden, and different stories were cooked up to deceive the world. After the wrong accusation of stealing money/jewelry on the poor people, they were brutally beaten up to the death by cops. This is such a shame, taking everything for granted just because they are police. They think that nobody can talk against them or take actions against them. Recently, I saw a short clip in which a man asks a policeman, why we should respect you every time when you don’t respect us back. This is a correct question, but only in cinemas we could see this kind of braveness. In reality, If we ask this question to them, we would end up in a jail for a false accusation like this.
Think about it, if we see cops suddenly always move out of that place, we are afraid of them thinking what they would do to us. Because they doubt everyone or we might know that, they leave actual criminals and put someone else in the jail for which they don’t have anything to do with. We could have often heard that police are your friends, but it is not that. It is their fault for everything we feel about them in bad. They make partnership with the thieves to get money and put false accusation on someone who is vulnerable. Not every policeman is the same of course because there are still some policemen who stand for justice, but there are some who are not fit to be a police.
Lately, a politician announced, if anyone who kicks actor Surya, he will be rewarded 1 lakh. What did he do to him? It is his job to act and produce a good movie. Giving abusive statement like this should be charged, and he must be put into a jail instead, for provoking riot in Tamil Nadu. Not only Surya, but his whole family is threatened by these people.
Many youngsters, from that community are themselves also saying that, they don’t see anything wrong in that movie, and they are appreciating Surya’s guts to take such a serious film line even after knowing that there would be controversies definitely he needed to face when the movie gets released. To the extent, Surya has given material help to the real characters of that story. This is something we need to follow from him. Give someone who don’t have what we have. The difference between us is, we have it, but they don’t have it. He has acted as a lawyer, who raised voice against the cops.
That particular community leaders are the main reason for honor killing to take place in the state of Tamil Nadu. They kill their own daughters for loving someone from any other caste. They have been killing both of them with no mercy. This has been taking place from long ago till now. But nobody is there to ask them why they do such things.
Everyone must watch this movie, especially Indians.
