Gameplay
Players control a character from the third-person perspective of Free Fire and move them with a joystick. They can shoot and throw objects by pressing the fire button. The protagonist is capable of moving around via jumping, crawling, and lying down. Players can use the "G loo Wall" grenade during gameplay as a kind of cover to fend off harm.[12] Big Head, Rampage, Cold Steel, Explosive Jump, Clash Squad, and Pet Mania are some examples. Other than Battle Royale, Clash Squad, and Lone Wolf, however, these modes are only accessible during specific events.[13][14]

In the four-player vs four-player Clash Squad mode, players purchase equipment from an in-game store while waiting for battle to begin, then face the other team in battle.

The game mode lasts between 4 and 7 rounds and is played in a best-of-7 format. When all members of one team are eliminated from the game, whether by their opponents or by the surroundings, that team wins the round. The maps used in Clash Squad and Battle Royale mode are the same as of 2022. Either casual or ranked play is available in this mode.[18][19][20]
Lone Wolf is a Clash Squad mode variant that features more complicated rules and may be played in either a 1-vs.-1 or 2-vs.-2 "duo" configuration. Both sides have the option to choose their gear for the following two rounds in each round. A best-of-five format is used to play the game. If both groups have won four games, each team then gets to choose any weapon they want to use in the final round. At the beginning of each round, each player is given a vest and helmet as standard equipment. Iron Dome is the name of the game mode's unique map.[21][22]
