Why People want to become Popular ?

For the most part, a person aspires to be famous in order to receive approval and attention from others. Social media platforms like Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and others have made it easier than ever to get the attention you want.

As a result of these platforms, those who seek popularity can potentially reach millions of people. Is fame a goal for everyone?

Almost everyone wants to be famous because they want to have power, position, and wealth; no one wants to be viewed as a nobody like they're unimportant, or helpless; this is what makes celebrities so appealing.

For what do I aspire to be well-known? We should all try to be known for the following twelve things: Kindness. I once referred a neighbor to a dear friend of mine because of his generosity.

Wealth attracts many, but generosity attracts fewer. Persistence. Everyone has been knocked down by life at some point. Emotional intelligence. Kindness and generosity of spirit, as well as faith and hope.

What are the advantages of becoming a well-known figure? Perks of Celebrity Status, having more money.

Recognized both locally and globally is the primary benefit of becoming a celebrity. Everywhere they go, famous people are recognized. There are a number of possibilities. Have a devoted following. Treated like royalty wherever they go. There is no privacy. There are paparazzi. There are stalkers.

Is it important to be famous? Fame has a powerful allure, since it seems to come with a slew of advantages. When you're famous, it's a given that your good name will follow you wherever you go. People will regard you favorably since you've done a good job of laying out your strengths in advance.

What is it like to be well-known? There are several ways in which being famous can lead to feelings of loneliness, insecurity, violation of family space, a sense of being watched, and living in a "fishbowl," among others.

Does it take a lot of work to become well-known? Famous people don't have to be talented or hardworking. To be successful, all you need is the ability to draw attention to yourself by doing something utterly out of character.

There's no difference in the outcome if you do something "good" or "evil" to garner attention. We all have a fundamental psychological need, equivalent to the desire for food and water or for shelter, that is to be approved by people.

This is why fame is so enticing, and it’s what fuels everyone’s desire for fame in the first place. The expanding number of renowned Instagram influencers, YouTubers, TikTokers, and the increased ease of access to fame make everyone wants their portion of it.

Everybody desires some form of fame. Social media is designed on this premise; people enjoy their own miniature version of fame on TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter.

The previous concept of fame was limited to and connected with only large artists, politicians, sports stars, and actresses. It’s no longer the case anymore, as everyone can use social media to garner attention and feel like a superstar.

When you look at it, celebrity, for a lot of individuals, is actually just an understandable desire for continual attention, affection, and approval, which is a problem.

Why Fame is More of a Problem Than a Solution People who fantasize about being famous fail to understand what celebrity really delivers (simple attention); they don’t realize that getting noticed by people does not necessarily imply you’ll be loved or appreciated by them, which is why everyone one wants to become famous in the first place. Generally, fame generates more problems than one thinks it can address.

Let’s take all the hate that comes with the attention that fame gives; strangers who don’t have a clue about how one actually is in person will attack him and try to damage his image.

Random people on the internet will declare their negative ideas in detail, unable or just unwilling to imagine that famous people bleed significantly faster than anyone else.

And believe me, the idea of “haters got hate” is easier said than done, especially when you’re continuously getting slammed with a storm of haters who will say and do whatever to have people turn against you.

Appreciation does not imply fame. It is only possible to gain appreciation and understanding from people you know and care about, not from groups of thousands or millions of strangers. To avoid these unnecessary hassles, it is better to embrace anonymity rather than become famous. Let go of my dreams of being famous?

Many people (especially young ones) perceive popularity as an opportunity to gain respect and validation, and if we understand that fame can't and doesn't provide what's expected of it (genuine love and admiration), we may be able to evaluate whether it's worth it.

In the presence of a celebrity who is getting more attention and "love" than you, you may feel like you need to do something to make yourself feel more important; you may feel as if you aren't as important as you think you are because you aren't getting the same attention and "love" as the celebrity.

When you realize that celebrity is not a substitute for neglect or a shortcut to friendship or love, you'll ideally put more effort into the things that really count in life.
