why People's Willingness to Pay More for Eco-Friendly Products, Is It Worth It?

Some immediately weigh the price, some put forward the brand, and even those believe more in reviews or reviews of other users. Everyone must have their considerations in making a purchase. The things considered will also change as people's financial conditions or priorities change. Well, in recent years, there is an interesting phenomenon that seems to be increasingly influencing the decision of many people to buy goods or products, namely the 'green' label. In an era where climate change and environmental damage are on the rise, the market for products that claim to be environmentally friendly continues to grow. There are products whose packaging can be recycled, and there are also products with organic ingredients produced without harming the environment. These eco-friendly products labeled green, "eco-friendly", or "sustainable ", not only sell function but also value or meaning that the purchase e of So Hip contributes to saving the environment. No matter how small, every effort to protect the environment deserves to be appreciated and followed. However, with the prices of products labeled as environmentally friendly almost always above average, the market is very limited to only those who can afford it and those who are willing. I don't mean to criticize, but it's important to be able to look at this movement critically. Like as why the price is expensive and how to distinguish which 'green' products or companies can bring about change compared to those that are just gimmicks.

Today, it seems that no one refuses the invitation to do good for the environment. However, some are willing to be more bothered or pay more, some are not

The impact of environmental damage is now increasingly felt in our daily lives. No need to see the phenomenon of melting ice at the North Pole, extreme weather phenomena occur almost all year round in various parts of the world. From flash floods, strong winds, and hot temperature records continue to be broken from year to year, to areas that never snow suddenly snow. People in countries with two seasons, such as Indonesia, are often confused about the boundaries between the dry and rainy seasons, which now seem to be mixed with uncertainty. With a series of irrefutable evidence of the destruction of nature, everyone seems to agree that we must act immediately to overcome the destruction of nature. Reporting from the Tempo page, a global study shows that environmental issues are becoming an increasingly important priority, especially for young people who have great concerns about their future impacts. In a different survey in Indonesia, still reported from the Tempo page, 89% of Indonesians said they were very worried about the impact of climate change. However, only 23% believe we are fully responsible for the destruction of nature. This was also revealed in global research conducted by Unilever, of 20,000 consumers, 33% of them claimed to prefer products from brands that support environmental sustainability. This proves that people actually have a concern for the environment, but have not fully been able to use environmentally friendly products. The reason is that not everyone can get these products, for example about the price.

Both consumers and businesses consider products that have green value as a plus, especially in the future
