Even Gaza's only cancer hospital has been forced to close. But in hospitals that are still operational, babies in incubators will die within minutes if the generator stops.

Asad al-Nawaza, a pediatric and neonatal specialist at Nasser Medical Hospital, told Al Jazeera, "We are scared and alarmed by the way the death toll is constantly increasing. We appeal to the world to provide the necessary fuel to run hospital generators in Gaza and to ensure the safety of children, the sick and wounded.'

There are 10 babies in the hospital's emergency neonatal unit. Some of these babies were born four weeks before their expected due date. According to the Gaza Ministry of Health, "130 newborns are currently dependent on electric incubators."

Meanwhile, on October 6, a day before the Hamas attack in southern Israel, a child named Talia was born. The baby was born at Nasser Medical Hospital in Khan Yunis, southern Gaza Strip. The doctors said, "The blue color of the child's skin has disappeared but his lungs are not yet strong enough."

Talia's mother (25) said, "Talia's birth was like a dream for me, but the moment of giving birth to her was much more difficult. Doctors say that water has accumulated in his lungs. So he is still in the hospital for round-the-clock observation.

He also said, 'I want this war to end quickly. The child's father and brother are waiting for them at home. At the end of this war I can take my child to his father and brother.'

At least 600 families in Gaza are no longer alive

"The Israeli army bombed the Nuseirat refugee camp in Gaza and killed my nephew and his entire family. My nephew Mahmoud Al-Shatil took refuge in that refugee camp with his wife and four children. Now none of them are alive.'

Abdul Rahman Al-Shatil, a resident of the besieged Gaza Strip, said these things in an interview with the Palestinian Chronicle.

Al-Shatil said, "There were many civilian women, men and children in that house in the refugee camp." Israeli forces deliberately bombed there. And many people were killed in this.

He also said, "My nephew was added to the list of families who were wiped out by Israel's aggression." No one else is alive in Mahmud's family. The name of my nephew's family has appeared in the registry of martyrs after the name was deleted from the registry of Palestinian citizens.

Another resident of Gaza, Mohammad al-Assar, told the Palestine Chronicle, "Israeli forces killed my uncle and cousin's family."

Al-Asr said, "My cousin Mohammad Al-Awar, Tariq Al-Awar and Ziad Al-Awar's family were all killed in the Israeli attack. They all took refuge in my uncle Dr. Abdel Rahman's house to escape the Israeli attack. But their end was not saved.

He also said, 'They were not associated with any Palestinian organization. They were all civilians.

In addition, Ibrahim Musa, a resident of the Nuseirat refugee camp, said, ``Four members of my neighbor Al-Naqla's family were killed in the Israeli bombardment.''

In an interview given to the American media CNN, a family from the United States said that 42 members of their family were killed in Gaza on the same day by Israel's attack. On October 19, they lost their three generations in the Israeli airstrike in the Sheikh Ezlin area of ​​Gaza.

According to the Ministry of Health of Palestine, all the members of at least 600 families in Gaza died in the attack of the Israeli forces. Their names have been completely erased from the Palestinian civil registry.
