Why people don't want to get married?
The question of the millennia, but the truth is most people want to marry but not at the age of 24-30 as it the prime age of a person to developed, work, explore and experience different aspects of his own life. It has been observed that this phenomenon is very common and keeps on happening from generation to generation. If we go a bit in the past the age limit was 21-25 before that it was 18 -22 then it was 8-10 and before that at the time of birth these things were decide but now mostly people want to get married by 30-35.
Major reasons for this change:-
1 Society and parents.
This society around us is not very happy with their marriages, even our own parents are arguing over small thing. A person watches, learns all these things and analyses that the cause of all this is marriage, but the amusing part is even after so much fighting the society & parents never fails a single chance to be cool.This society and its ways are the major reasons for a person to think in a different way then usual.
2 Love affairs.
This is 21st century and every buddy has someone is their life or looking for someone. So, they want to enjoy the perks of being independent. Mostly the people enjoy this stage between age22-26 and if they have a bad experience, they don’t want to marry. The couples with good experience they take their time to settle in with each other which results in late marriages.
3 Star icons or celebrities.
Mostly people watch and follow celebrities thus, want to have a life like those people these celebrities set the tempo of the future society and therefore normal people follow them and want to marry late as their icons. Although the celebrities have their personal reasons for having a late marriage. The normal people try to mimic their life unknowingly and end up being single or unmarried till a very old age.
4 Bad break ups.
Every person have bad experiences, or they have seen few with their close friends so, these people take it as a benchmark. They never try to overcome this fear it also has been observed in few studies that these kinds of people promote bad breakups in the own society and people under their influence tend to disapprove relationships and try to live solo or stay in community with similar thought process.
5 Divorces.
As per the studies divorce rate in India has doubled with an exponential rate. The couples have been less tolerant with each other after few years of marriage. Most of these cases are of urban cities, where both of the partners are working and have professional equality but at home one of them tries to dominate other which results in aggressive argument. If these arguments are too heated. Therefore, they start acting in a peculiar way which further destroys their communication and bonding. Thus, these kinds of relationships end in court with a very unfortunate way which no one wants.
