There are religious superstitions when it comes to dancing without religious reasons why in the world does one not want to feel the mind and body rejuvenate the energy caused by dancing? In fact, not all dance involves the wearing of pink tutus and many types of dance have natural masculinity so maintaining masculinity cannot be a sufficient excuse not to dance.
When it comes to dancing there are many exciting and amazing dance styles available around the world. From classical dance moves (which are a complete spectacle of masculinity though not widely practiced today other than festive dance) to the grace and beauty of ballet or ballroom dancing there is probably some kind of dance that should be attractive. almost anyone in the world.
Native Americans had a positive attitude and good ideas when it came to dancing. They dance for almost any reason and allow the rhythm of the drum to act as their guiding force. Native Americans dance to worship, rain, joy, sorrow, and war preparation. Their dances were heartfelt and as part of their nature as was their nationality. Dancing has always been an important part of their culture and heritage and is still practiced today albeit on a much smaller scale.
While some religions do not encourage dancing, others accept dance as a form of worship and devotion to their deities. Others promote dancing as a way of praising. Others dance to the tune of blessings and abstinence from their deities or to their gods. Regardless the fact remains that dance plays an important role in many of the world's religions. If you are a believer, I can think of a few better reasons to dance than to express your beliefs physically.
Some people dance because they like music and they enjoy watching other people dance. There are all sorts of fun dance styles that can be done alone, as a couple, or as part of a very large group. In the United States, line dancing and square dance are great ways to dance as part of a larger group and more competitive forms and as part of a ballet company or other type of competitive or professional dance company. Couples who dance to some degree include square dance but also other forms of dance such as ballroom dancing. Individual dance is reserved for competitive dancing and often requires years of practice to complete. Some people give their lives for this type of dance and can no longer make a mark in the competitive dance cycle.
Dancing fits with another wave that seems to be taking over the world. There are many ways this can be done and it works well for those who would never exercise and those who like to dance. It gets out of your seat and wanders off to the music. Get a good driving rhythm, close the curtains, and dance until you can no longer breathe. It is a great way to get the exercise you need while you are having fun and not realizing that you (breathing) are exercising. Mind over the subject is a big deal. If it doesn't sound like exercise there is no reason for your body, mind, or spirit to protest, right?
Dancing has become a new sport in the USA and around the world. Real television dramas such as “Dancing with Stars” and movies like this and Richard Gere-Shall We Dance have made ballroom dancing popular and appealing to the average person who has never considered this form of dance before. With so many wonderful reasons to dance, why on earth would you not want to dance?
