Why Not Dance ?

Are there any religious taboos when it comes to dance, other than religious reasons, why on earth would anyone want to experience the mind and body renewing energy that comes from dancing? In truth, not every dance involves wearing a pink tutu, and many forms of dance are inherently masculine, so maintaining masculinity is by no means an adequate excuse for not dancing.

When it comes to dance, there are many interesting and amazing dance styles that span the globe. From the old weapon dances (which are a perfect display of masculinity and masculinity, although they are not practiced much today other than in ceremonial dancing) to the grace and beauty of ballet or ballroom dancing, it is almost certain that there is some form of dance that should captivate. To almost anyone on the planet.

Native Americans had excellent attitudes and ideals when it came to dance. They danced for almost any reason, and the beat of the drum served as their guiding spirit. Native Americans danced for worship, for rain, for joy, for sorrow, and for preparation for war. Their dances were heartfelt and were as much a part of their individual nature as their tribal identity. The dance was an essential part of their culture and heritage and is still passed down to this day, albeit on a much smaller scale.

While some religions discourage dancing, others embrace dancing as a form of worship and devotion to their deities. Some encourage dancing as an expression of praise. Others dance for the joy of the blessings and bounty of their gods or to submit to their gods. Regardless, the fact remains that dance plays a vital role in many of the world's religions. If you're religious, I can think of few better reasons to dance than to express your beliefs in physical form.

Some people dance simply because they like the music and enjoy watching others dance. There are all kinds of fun dance styles that can be practiced alone, in pairs, or as part of a much larger group. In the United States, line dancing and square dancing are excellent ways to dance as part of a larger group, as well as many types of competitive dance and as part of a ballet company or other type of competitive or professional dance company. Pair dances include square dancing to some extent, but also other forms of dancing such as ballroom dancing. Solo dancing is largely reserved for competitive dancing and often requires years of practice to perfect. Some people dedicate their lives to this type of dance and yet never make it on the competitive dance circuit.

Dance for fitness is another wave that seems to be taking the world by storm. There are many ways to do this, and it is quite effective for those who would otherwise not exercise at all, as well as those who simply love to dance. He gets up from his seat and moves around to the music. Find a nice ride, close the curtains and dance until you can't breathe. It's a great way to get some much-needed exercise while having fun and not even realizing you're working out. Mind over matter is a precious thing. If it's not like exercise, then there's no reason for your body, mind or spirit to protest, right?

Dance is becoming somewhat of a new sport in the US and around the world. Reality television shows like "Dancing with the Stars" and movies like the one with Richard Gere-Shall We Dance have made ballroom dancing popular and attractive to the average person who would not have considered this form of dance before. With so many wonderful reasons to dance, why on earth wouldn't you want to dance?
