Why ''NO'' is as important as ''YES''?

1. Parent's Choices (Education, Career, Marriage)

Today, many parents say that we leave it in the hands of Son/Daughter, yet they seed what they wanted. Most of the parent's thought or ideas that come from the external sources or some person. When your parents choose something for you, if it benefits you, then go for it. In most cases, it doesn’t end up positively. Every parent thinks of an easy life for their son/daughter, but they don’t know what happiness lies in dream study, dream job, or marrying the loved one.

If you know that what your parents want you to do doesn’t benefit your future or happiness, just say 'No' without hesitation. We hesitate to say no because we respect our parents and their experience in life. We know ourselves more than anyone else, even what our friends know our parents have no idea of it. If you don’t want your parents' choices and if you think it will affect the present and the future, say 'No' and explain why, explain your passion, your dream about what you wanna become and who you want to marry. This is the major part of your life were saying 'No' is the next step for your happy being.

2. Job interviews

Almost everyone would have faced this situation once in their life. In Every Company/Organisation(excluding some MNC’s), all the hiring professionals must have used these word ‘You’re Hold, will get back to you. Fairly if you don’t want or think that the person is not eligible for the particular job, you can say ‘No’ with some kind words without hurting the person. Think, if that was the person’s first interview. Those words are hoping words for him, and he would wait till he gets your call, and he never prepares himself and never attends an interview just because of those words. After days, he would end up going for another interview. Do those recruiting professionals face any loss in giving him a call or intimating that he was not selected? Your 'No' has value, not for you but for the person who expects something from you. If it is 'No,' just say it out, no one commits suicide failing an interview.

3. Proposals (Love)

Unlike Boys, Girls face these problems more often. Girls have the problem of saying 'No' to a proposal; even saying 'Yes' is easier. Why saying 'No' is difficult here, as a girl says 'No' to a boy, he degrades and insults the girl’s character, once her character gets degraded, She loses her dignity in her surrounding. I consider this situation because love plays a major part in everyone’s life. If a boy celebrates the word 'Yes' from a girl, he should have the mental stability to accept the 'No.' And girls should be stubborn and have the courage to say 'No,' and courage to face him after a 'No.' And boys should act wisely with whatever answer is.

4.Superstitions

Astrology, Horoscope matching, visiting dargahs can be listed more. We, the upcoming generations, don’t want to involve in this, but if something bad happens, our elders will relate this to the superstitions. So, we continue to involve in this activity just for the satisfaction of our elders. We come across many superstitions in daily life; sometimes, we do have the feeling, either to believe it or not. Yes, of course, we all know these are all the superstition's beliefs, yet we continue to do without explaining it to ourselves. We should say No to these beliefs; many marriages stop due to these superstitions, many delay their life just because of these superstitions. Some situations fall in the perfect place; we regret it later. Here lies the next 'No,' unless we say it, this superstition's belief cannot be eradicated from this society.

5.Property

Basically, what comes under this topic?  A land, a house, a palace? Properties that have value for money. From my point of view, it denotes the things without which a human can’t be able to live, and also it indicates rights to live, personal liberty, and all the rights that a person can exercise against others. But, nowadays the point which is mentioned above was turned to be a greedy one. Even a person with million dollars has agreed over his ancestral property; of course, he has right over it. What if he has a brother/sister struggling for his/her daily life, food, and shelter. Here his No carries a value; it will make a way to his brother/sister for the betterment of living. So, here the term ‘No’ is more valuable as he/she makes a way to his/her brother/sister, and also the kinship is also maintained if he/she does so. No one takes their property after death, Right?. Your “No” will speak to your legal heirs when they fight over your property.

Conclusion

Every word plays an important role in every part of life. Usage of words decides kinship, friendship, relationship, and even war. Use the word when it is necessary, then regretting it later.
