Why is Naruto the best anime to watch?
The story starts with a young orphan boy causing all the nuisance and mess in the village and is obviously hated by everyone. But here comes the twist as the villagers hated him long before he became such a troublemaker.
But there was a reason for the hatred; the child possessed a monstrous beast inside of him, which was once a reason for a past village disaster that caused a lot of casualties. Having no loved ones and not knowing who his parents were and why the people treated him like an outcast was a lot to take for the little child. However, he had a person who was different from the others and especially cared for him. He was his master at the ninja academy. And the boy has only one dream, a dream where he can show his worth and be acknowledged and respected by everyone in the village. He dreamt of being the Hokage of the village where everyone hated him. But it will not be an easy job as Hokage is complicated and has to become the strongest person in the village.
So, what are the difficulties he’ll come across on the path of achieving his dream and how he’ll try making everyone acknowledge him and the people he meets on the way is the main story of Naruto?
It sure is a long series with over 700 episodes, to be precise, 720. But over 40% of them are filler episodes. You can skip them if you want to concentrate on the main storyline, and there will be no issues if you decide to watch them either. But some of the fillers are fun to watch, not all, though.
The series is divided into two shows: Naruto (2002), consisting of 220 episodes, and the second one is Naruto: Shippuden (2007), which has exactly 500 episodes. The first show concentrates on Naruto’s childhood, in which his age was around 12-13 years (preteen years), and in Shippuden, his age will be 16-17 years. There’s a time skip of 2-3 years between the series's timeline when it shifts to Shippuden.
All the episodes are dubbed, and there is also a subbed version if you want to watch it in Japanese. The Naruto (2002) is available on Indian Netflix, and unfortunately, there’s no Shippuden. I’ll be leaving the channel links on telegram for both shows subbed and dubbed below. You can even watch it online on some websites like Gogo anime, Crunchyroll, etc. But these are mostly subbed, and I cannot assure you about the dubbed ones. But I’ll recommend you download the episodes on telegram because most of them are less than 100 MB each. But it’s your choice.
I’ll promise you one thing that you’ll not regret watching Naruto. And it’s something worth spending your time on. I’ll also be leaving the link for the episode guide for filler and manga canon episodes below.
Hope you guys will love the anime, and feel free to share your thoughts on it in the comment section below.
