I'm 100% sure that there will be a lot of people reading this article, and they'll think I'm crazy. I really don't care. In this article I am writing about that in my humble opinion which is the most important things in life, health and happiness.
All my many friends talk about money:
Which car are you driving?
How much does your house cost?
How much do you earn?
How much does your suit cost?
Where are you going on holiday this year?
All of this I find to be boring, and I think they are sad. They seem to be in a certain competition and are very focused on money.
I will give you an example of such a friend, whose name is John. He never talked about anything else and always looked for schemes to get rich quick. He is also attending a lottery meeting, which is attended by about fifty. Each member pays about ten pounds a week. John likes to party with people on Saturday nights, but soon he is biting during the lottery draw. After a few minutes he will go into the bathroom where he will call his girlfriend. He took a piece of toilet paper with his numbers and a small pen. After his girlfriend tells him what numbers have been taken, John will spend about 20 minutes checking his numbers, and then checking to see if he has any winning lines.
Eventually, you return to the team that seems most determined (except me) to find out how much you have won / lost. So far you have won only a small amount of money, yet you are sure that one day you will become a millionaire. He will then start talking about the lottery, asking other people what they will buy if they are lucky enough to win. At this point I get bored, and I start wishing I could have stayed home watching football.
For me, the two most important things in life are health and happiness. These are two things that money cannot buy. A few years ago, my father became sick. She was in a critical condition and had to spend about five months in the hospital. His illness terrified me as he was only 57 years old. I was terrified, even though I was trying my best to think and feel positive. I remember thinking, if I gave those doctors everything I had in the world, it would still not help him. I felt exhausted and at the same time realized that money was only paper.
Happiness is the same, I remember I was 21 years old with a lot of money, and I was surprised that I was depressed at the same time. Sometimes I never had money again, sometimes I was never sad again. Sometimes life may take turns, and sometimes it may go smooth. There is a famous saying that life will still go on and move, and it does not depend on if you are happy or not. This time will pass, and good times will come. Just smile, my friend, and it will be okay.
