Why lovers don't end up together?

A lot of people question their lives when people leave. Struggling with their existence, questioning their innates, and cursing themselves. How heartbreaking it gets at times, how agonizing seeing someone fighting himself/herself for what they've lost in life. But have you ever pondered over it? Are they meant to stay?

We humans. We're so little, so weak and so flawed. We can't even handle our hearts, how come to handle others around us? I believe lovers aren't meant to end up together, always. Some do. But most of them don't. A number of reasons and rationales. This reminds me of a book I read. One of its lines said, "Lovers don't marry, it breaks the illusion."
That's the answer. How beautifully it clarified.

Lovers do end up together, at times. And that's where the two are lucky enough. But I believe the ones who don't, are even luckier. Because the left leaves a lot to remember. The gone gives a lot to grieve. The departed gives a lot to dream about. One finds oneself. He reaches out for the inner self and finds his strengths and weaknesses. I've read it a number of times "lose people but never lose yourself." How easy it is to spit out the words. Once it comes to practically applying something, it's the hardest. But can't we try? We can. Losing one's own self is so heart-wrenching. Believe me.

Years pass by and you still recall a person with the" funniest man/woman on earth who never failed to make us laugh during the hard times." But unfortunately, meeting after years and finding them all quiet. That switch, that transformation doesn't feel good. It hurts. Because people lose their self-being. People lose their identities. And it hurts.

Lovers may or may not end together. This is a question, everyone has his own answer to. Because to everybody, the situation differs, the circumstances differ and the luck differs. Just believe in the moments you have. No past, no future. Just the present. It matters.
At times, all you need is "YOU"
No friends, no family, nothing.
Just yourself.
Does it happen to you? At some point in your daily life, you just want to switch the routine tasks. Getting up, dragging yourself to complete your work, surviving the time, back to bed.
It's just that you want to do something different. You want to be alone, either reading a novel, listening to music, walking alone in a park, sketching, or painting. But far from this world. All you want is peace and your self-being.

In today's world, we're so into extra tasks and turns, that we fail to provide ourselves comfort and love. What do we need to stay happy? What do we require to bring peace to our lives? What is 'that something' which puts a smile on our face? Do we know that? No, because we've never worked over ourselves. We've never reached for the flames that fire our soul.

Today, give yourself that time. The time you've been wanting for so long. Make an effort for yourself. Bake, cook, drive, read, listen to your long-loved songs. Do whatever makes YOU happy. Because in the end, only you matter.
