Jammu and Kashmir is set to transform into a vibrant industrial ecosystem, which will have the offices of large companies in the coming years, as the Union Territory gears up to receive massive investments. Opportunities are already knocking at the door of ordinary citizens and they are ready to receive them.
Development is the key to transform people’s lives. The present government in Jammu and Kashmir has launched a mission to take the Union Territory to new heights and improve the standard of living of the common man. The decisions being taken are aimed at bringing Jammu and Kashmir at par with other parts of the country.
The Real Estate Summit in Jammu was organized to give the message that any Indian citizen can buy land in Jammu and Kashmir. 39 MoUs were signed in the summit. These include investments in residential, commercial, infrastructure and film sectors. The next such summit is scheduled to be held in Srinagar in May this year.
However, political parties based in Kashmir have opposed it.
There has been a sharp reaction from Kashmir-based political parties regarding the Real Estate Summit. He has termed the move to prepare the Union Territory for sale. These parties have claimed that the special status of Jammu and Kashmir has been illegally revoked to dehumanize, oust and remove from power the only Muslim-majority state in India and to change its demography.
It is unfortunate that traditional politicians have tried to give communal color to an honest move designed to empower the common people of J&K. To attract investors to a place where there has been no development for the last 70 years, it is not being put up for sale. Nor is it a move to oust or oust people from power. These parties were part of the politics of power since 1947, but they never attempted to connect Jammu and Kashmir with the rest of the country. They are not able to digest the fact that the Himalayan region is witnessing unprecedented development in all areas.
Even the separatists are not liking this move. Whereas the Centre’s decision to reorganize Jammu and Kashmir has solved all the problems forever and put the Union Territory on the path of peace, prosperity and development. Despite getting many opportunities to do so, such leaders are finding it difficult to accept that Jammu and Kashmir is turning from a separatist state to a super state.
The leaders who are still opposing development should understand that when they were in power they should have focused on creating opportunities for a common man instead of raising those issues which do not come under their jurisdiction. Were.
The special status of Jammu and Kashmir is history and this step will not be reversed. The residents of the Union Territory have supported the decision of the Center on August 5, 2019 and are happy as their sufferings have been eased during the last two years.
Now outsiders are also showing willingness to invest here.
Investment proposals received by the J&K government are an indication that outsiders are willing to invest in J&K, as they see the UT as a place with tremendous potential. Apart from national investors, foreigners are also showing interest in setting up enterprises in J&K. Earlier this year at the Dubai Expo, well-known business groups had signed an MoU worth Rs 17,000 crore with the Jammu and Kashmir government.
National and multinational companies coming forward to invest in the Himalayan region, there is good news for the people of Jammu and Kashmir. The efforts of the Central and Union Territory Governments are reaping the benefits. The place which was out of bounds for any kind of investment for the last seven decades has now started attracting big stalwarts and once everything starts getting off the ground it will become a common man in J&K. will create many opportunities for
On the other hand, in the midst of increasing opportunities for development and employment, it is a situation of sour grapes for those who are criticizing it.
