A doctor who has to keep a human body fit in all respects should have sufficient knowledge of a human structure, its working, and its problems.
It is necessary for him because if a patient comes to him with some problem in case of any health trouble, then the doctor will have to provide him proper treatment according to his health hazard. It will only be possible if the doctor is well versed with the knowledge of his profession along with the knowledge of his body so that he could specify the place of trouble in the body.
We see that when a machine i.e. watch, car, an air conditioner, etc has some trouble, we wish to take it to a person well versed with the body of the machine internally and externally and also with the problem the machine has, same in the case with human beings, that when one falls ill he wants to go to a good doctor about whom he believers that the doctor to whom he is going is perfect in his knowledge.
A patient knows, that only that doctor can prescribe a correct medicine for him who has complete knowledge of his body. Therefore it is necessary for a doctor to know about the body of a human as much as it is possible for him.
A doctor has first to know about the different parts of the body and then after that, it will be possible for him to go through its working. Therefore we are true to say that the knowledge of anatomy can build a palace of knowledge for a doctor. More the foundation (anatomy of knowledge) is strong more strong will be the palace(knowledge of his professional degree in medicine). So it is need of the time that he should study anatomy to the best of his capabilities so that he could be a good doctor in his future life. it is compulsory for him because he has to serve the humanity throughout his life in his medical profession.
Homeopathic students are much afraid of the subject, "anatomy". this subject seems to them a difficult subject according to their examination point of view. But they should know that they could make themselves a good homeopath only when they make them perfect in the subject of the anatomy along with the subject of homeopathic philosophy and materia medica.
